God-tier indie games

Very few games come close to how repeatedly playable and fun this is

True. Yeah that’s true

yeah, it is true. very true

I agree with you OP, that is very true

Very true OP, very true.

True OP. True.

I can't deny it, it's true.

Its true.

That being said. FTL maybe. Not quite as fun as Isaac. But I still have 150 hours in it and like 400 in Isaac.

Ziggurat is that way for me. I've played it over 50 times, though it gets to be really short once you're good at it. And the daily challenge mode to see who can get the highest score is fun.

I played the first one for like 10 hours and it was boring as sin

Verdun was WWI kino until they nerfed rifle damage and ruined the hit boxes.

not false

I'm usually not a metroidvania fan and I know this gets posted a lot, but hollow knight was pretty fun desu, didn't think I'd finish it and read up on lore on the side

Dead Cells and Stardew are the only ones in this image I wouldn't call God Tier
Shovel Knight wasn't until King of Cards

I feel like dead cells is close to God tier. But the lack of branching paths and endings hurts it a bit. Thought I haven't played since it launched on switch. I only put in about 15 hours on steam pre release and 35 or so on switch. It's good. Just something about it isn't as endlessly addicting as Isaac.

If you like Ziggurat, give Immortal Redneck a try

Absolutely based

The core gameplay is great, but it's just repetitive as fuck and the difficulty options are just autism mode past 2 BC

>plays a game that is boring for more than 2 hours

MY MAN

Ziggurat is crap, Immortal Redneck is the one true god.
You can't even strafe and run at the same time.

I've played quite a couple of roguelites and it still amazes me how nothing has even come close to the replayability of this game. It's undoubtedly the best roguelite and one of the titans of indie games.

gotta write that steam review

recently picked up undermine and while i am liking it, the little fucking slimes that appear and try to steal your gold is a pain in the dick when you need money
also why must i get cursed when i recevie a blessing from a shrine, feels like i should only have that happen to me if i find one laying around

Haven't played Isaac. For me it's probably FTL though.

where the new expansion be though

Shovelknight then FTL for me

Slay the Spire by a mile desu

New items made it too easy to break the game now i have literally all items in pretty much every run

good rec user i will buy it when it goes on sale

>RNG the game

yeah no, it's a shit shooter if you paid for it.
In addition to stealing mods and charging you for them, putting other ones stolen as "free updates" and fucking over console players by refusing to update the game, it's just too RNG
IF you don't get at least one good item by DD floor 3, then you have to restart unless you plan on doing on a short run.

That said, I pirated it and have about 600 hours in it, glad I never paid for it though

>dead cells
>good
>when every higher difficulty is reduced to lol you die in two hits and also a thousand enemies who shoot through walls off-screen
Fuck off.
