Best DK spec in Shadowlands?

does it matter unless you care about your mythic parses? If you're a heroic or normal raider your spec/class doesn't matter.

i literally used my 120 boost from shadowlands preorder on an Orc Death Knight, because DK will be absurdly OP once again. They are getting stuff they had in MoP and even WoTLK back.

then your safest bet would be unholy DK. Since ability damage doesn't matter anymore, they get a massive buff because... Mastery now increases pet damage! You summon your skeleton army and afk while topping meters. It's as easy as it gets for doing massive damage.

Back in the olden days, it kind of was. With capped armor pen, blood was top DPS AND tank spec (CDs for blood were fucking insane compared to the rest of the tanks).

I don't get it. They listen to feedback and add back 2h frost, but they can't fucking fix the playstyle? I don't understand blizzard's mindset on this. EVERYONE hates it. Guess I'm going back to unholy for another fucking expansion.

Nah, my safest bet is bdk. Never could get into unholy, so i'm simply not playing dk at all when i don't tanking and fdk feels like ass.

2h fdk should actually be fine. It always was a pretty slow spec with muh half health pool obliterate.

Even if it'll not be a redemption, she will get end 10 times better than Arthas.

All Shadowlands will be is core systems we had before, especially in Legion, but toned down to the most primitive levels, and just renamed to something else. You will still grind pointless AP with hew name to fill out Soul Binds which is just the BFA Neck thing now but a different name. You get a Covenant Ability which is just the watered down version of Class Halls from Legion with a Class based ability instead of Spec bases ability (and without the awesome Spec specific Class questlines throughout the entire expansion).
Go grind for X amount of timegated months for cosmetics and get the gear RNG treadmill done then wait for the next patch, endlessly boring and nothing new.
As soon as you hit 60 in Shadowlands, it will hit you. This is no different from the worst parts of WoD, Legion, BFA, its exactly the same, and you were fooled.

arthas' end in wotlk was bad, but Sylvanas will always be a trash character no matter what ending she will get.

Everyone doesn't hate it. People who don't play the spec hate it. That's why they don't play the spec and why their opinion doesn't matter. When all your "feedback" boils down to "remove dis I don't liek it", it's easy to dismiss.

Don't expect cata launch 2h frost to ever come back. It traumatized PvPers to such a degree that it was first nerfed into the ground and then entirely removed. It's also how I can spot shitters who would do garbage dps with any spec, because 2h frost has literally not been viable since shortly after the fucking launch of Cataclysm. The people who want it back, once again, don't play the spec and oftentimes even the class, and if they do play, they suck shit.

I'm gonna stop you right there because there were no spec specific questlines, you just got one quest for obtaining your weapon (some of which were shared between various classes) and one mage tower quest (of which there were five or seven types total).

You always grind various shit in MMO to progress, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be deterred by that. Grinding stupid progressbars to get my dopamine going is exactly why I'm playing. Compared to Legion and BFA there will be no endless scaling power grind, it will have caps, and titanforging loot RNG will be gone entirely. Those alone are already good improvements. Unfortunately class design isn't quite where it should be, though.

Am I supposed to believe that the game was something phenomenal in MoP, Cata, Wrath, etc., but only became a numbing grind in WoD and on? Because I don't. I think you just don't like the game and have to make excuses to yourself as to why you ever did.
