Will any rhythm game give me the same feeling as beating Space Channel 5 except for its sequel?

Have you tried Gitaroo Man on Master's Mode?
Umjammer Lammy, Gitaroo Man...that's about it. Patapon maybe.
Even the move game is fine, but its way too short. I don't think I'll ever get over that.
This one.
this game was great
Will there ever be rhythm games this good again? Why did they all just dry up? I want to go back...
I heard those Miku games are good
Elite beat agents is close.
I wish there was another rhythm game that made me feel like a piece of shit when I did bad but feel like a god when I do well.
>Switch is all the rave
>no new motion-control rhythm games on it
All we got was beat sabers with PS move and that is a huge disappointment.
I'd completely forgotten this lil' gem, until the retro-doggo reminded me about it with her cute fangirling over Michael.
Man, it was a different era.
Nah, but if you want a list of Rhythm Games that are fun and have their own music, here.

Probably a few I'm forgetting since I can't play them all, but I had a lot of fun with these.
>no mention of Bust a Groove
What a casual.
I was getting a list of them and gameplay, but the thread was at page 10 so I just posted what I had. Missed a few random ones as well like Puyo Puyo DA! and Samba de Amigo.
Who cares what's the page bro, these little threads are nice, effort is always a kind thing. Better than the Page 1 500 replies shitposting ones.
You do know that when threads reach Page 10 they're very close to being dead? If I didn't bump the thread it would've died.
why did story based rhythm games die with the ps3?
UP DOWN UP DOWN CHU CHU CHU
UP DOWN UP BOING BOING CHU CHU!
SC5 really does have some wonky input detection. I remember finding it impossible to play for around an hour or so. Seems like the game wants you to be perfect with your inputs and any small fuck up costs you a heart.
I eventually got it down and finished 1. Played through 2 without a single miss or game over too.
>neglecting Ouendan
>aka the reason EBA was even made for the states

Yes. But it still would have been a nice thread.
REZ is less of a rhythm game and more of a rail shooter that makes music.
Still highly reccomend it, Just an all around great experience.
Maybe Parappa? It's not exactly the same as Space Channel, but it's a really good game.
Is Patapon good?
I love Parappa/SC5 but I dont know how Patapon plays.
I have found a gameplay, it's just some minutes, and it's better than a two phrase post. The mechanics are actually really cool, check it out.

Go here and don’t come back.
Have you played Cool Cool Toon for the Dreamcast? That game is fucking fantastic. Great story, awesome selection/variety of songs, and the game play system is extremely addictive (incredible feedback tuned to songs)
>vrtubers fags
Man, what happened to this place? Aside from all the other tumors.
