The patch that dropped after coast was also great. My Kangz campaign ended up Settra against the Blue vipers on the donut trying to get a launch point to invade each others continents.

My latest campaign had Morathi take over the doughnut, and Tyrion take over Norsca. Don't even know what happened to Malekith; he just vanished.

lizardmen and stunties are ez mode even for me most of the time

One non obvious thing is that ranged troops do a lot more damage if they have direct line of sight, so if you've managed to engage all enemy units walk your archers around to short range behind them and unload.

Yeah, Empire infantry holds the line, they don't really kill shit. Gotta use ranged, cav, or magic to actually get kills.

What faction to mash my dudes into their dudes and win?

use missiles, don't bother with empire cavs, they're suck (and even slower than tier 1 knights errant)
