My best guess as to why I feel this way is she's just, kinda there? Like she's super out of place being a human and whatnot, moreso when you consider that Kirby is supposed to be like, immensely small in size, like a few inches or something. She feels like someone put their self-insert character into the series only minus anything really interesting, so she's not really a mary sue. She's just...there

My feelings are similar with Void Termina. My main reasoning for disliking him (outside of being a boring final boss) is his design is super out of place. He looks like a Kingdom Hearts boss instead of anything within the Kirby universe

for a lot of people, it's the closest thing they get as a way to imagining themselves in the game - a human character in adventures with Kirby.

I'm pretty sure that many artists feel an extra connection duo to that.
I definitely did, personally, but a lot of people are NPC's incapable of being imaginative.

i think he was meant to look alien, intentionally, with the design.

I don't think it's her purpose, but that's likely a large part of her appeal. That and being from one of the most charming/best games in the series to many.

I would agree with all, except that she's funny. the only thing about her that helps with humour is the fact that she's a 'loli' and from a series like Kirby, it aids to a lot of sexual humour.
