>"Ghost Trick is one of the most perfect games I've ever played. The music is superb, the gameplay is imaginative, the story is brilliant, and the visuals are fantastic. There's no part of Ghost Trick which performs its duties any less than spectacularly. Completing the game left me more satisfied than any game I can recall, thanks in large part to its amazing conclusion which wraps up nearly every loose end."
>"Ghost Trick has probably the best story I've ever seen in a computer game."
Dare I say.... based?
Why do we need to keep having these threads.
can we have a 101 thread without attaching it to shitposting bait
not OP, but I am unironically okay with people shilling TW101 more, and if using the opinion of a somewhat known reviewer to prop it up is a way to get people interested in it, so be it.
I genuinely think it's a great game and while I'm not the one making threads about it I definitely hope more people on Zig Forums give it a shot
The Wonderful 101 aside, Matt is the only vidyatuber I really like. There's others who I can tolerate but his stuff is the only content I enjoy as something more than a way to kill time when I have nothing else to do.
that's pretty much exactly how I felt about it after I beat it when it came out. I need to play Ghost Trick again.
Why, yes, Viva Pinata is my favorite game. How could you tell?
You could really tell Matt was frustrated about the things people were complaining about in his new video. Feels bad.
DANGER'S COMING, LOOMING LARGE
SO WHO'S GONNA MAKE A STAAAAAND
It was fine. Don't know why he's latched onto it.
A bit of a one-trick pony as a game. Great first playthrough but returning to fetch the max ranks didn't really improve my perception of the game pacing or mechanic wise.
>A bit of a one-trick pony as a game
of all things you could say about w101, one trick pony is not one of them
I couldn't figure out how to attack the legs on the final boss
I feel dumb now that I know to go to the side
I had it half figured out but just spammed a giant whip, and later bombs instead
played all of Operation 009 in one sitting, my hands hurt and my body is tired
so much work for a 009-C consolation prize
100 RANGERS ARE TAKING CHARGE
THE LINE IS DRAWN IN THE SAND
ending question but why did the brain's giant mask break?
So what CAN Unite Guts block? And when can you damage Vorken because he seems immune to attacks even when he's alone
I prefer the plots of several of the Ace Attorney games but I know he likes them as well so it's all good.
BLUNDER RED YOU HAVE TO FUCK MY SISTER
>you are a cool guy Blunder Red
>you can come to my house and fuck my sister
Do you think your jelly withstand it? The only ones that I didn't instinctually work out were Vorkken's tombstone and the giant crab.
Note that enemies turning red makes them unblockable too.
>That emotion breaking through in his voice when he calls the game wonderful at the end
That's what got me to dust off my old Wii U copy that i'd previously only put about an hour into. Stayed up all night playing it so I'd say he achieved his goal.
Guts blocks blunt attacks. It's made out of jello to tell you that sharp/piercing attacks will go through it.
Vorkken is most vulnerable after gutsing his fist/hammer. Outside of that, he's vulnerable for a few moments after doing a dodge.
>100 RANGERS ARE TAKING CHARGE
literally just checked;_;
Almost everything blunt, the number of exceptions can be counted on one hand. After you guts an attack of Vorkken's he's completely open, although not particularly susceptible to juggling, but you can attack him any time. He isn't immune, although his dodging around gets him a lot of i-frames, keep swinging and you'll get him with some attacks, while also reducing his team size.
Didn't block Vorken's hammer though
It's over.
81 hours in the remaster + 150 in the Wii U version.
One of my favorites of all time.
Guts blocks the direct hit of the hammer but not the hammer's shockwave.
You probably got hit by the latter.
It doesn't block the shockwave, you have to guts the hammer itself. His hammer, when it's big enough, is one of the handful of attacks that requires over 50 members to guts, otherwise it'll break through. Only if it's a super big hammer though, if it wasn't big then you were blocking the shockwave.
It won't stop the shockwave.
Very nice. Gonna do pure plat?
That spinning airplane platform bit can go screw. Nauseous nonsense
Why yes, I made a wojak version of your meymey
I'm pretty sure his hammer doesn't have the size requirement against your Guts.
>DURR CHUD
Good job user. That's the way Operation 009 should be played.
>bought Hero Time
>retry the Vorkken's 4th fight
>styling on him as I dodge his unblockable attacks
Hero Time really does make Vorkken much easier, I feel a bit cheap for using it. Then again I might need it on the harder difficulties.
Absolutely wonderful.
Probably not for a while, since Xenoblade is coming out on friday and I want to play it.
I know I'll eventually come back to it though.
You can't hurt him when he's swinging around things like sword, whip, or claw, so don't feel too cheap.
My exact plan. All I have left for the 100% is operation 101, which I'm gonna do tomorrow, then just chill with Xenoblade for a while.
What do you mean?
Hero Time is pretty much mandatory for higher difficulties, so don't feel too bad about it. I never took it off after getting it.
It's much more of an "upgrade" to dodge than that pile of shit called Drill Spring.
Hero Time is really good but I don't feel bad for abusing it because a lot of situations are just total bullshit without it. Like that one Kakhoo regah filled with spiked enemies.
