How the fuck is this VN 2nd highest on VNDB? The characters and story are slightly good but the actual VN is only decent, nowhere near the level it's rated. Is it because of the anime bringing in VN newfags?

Chaos;Head was a great VN too that utlimately got overshadowed due to a shit adaptation, Chaos;Head Noah's been needing a translation since forever but instead the fucks at Spike Chunsoft look at Steins;Gate and say "WE NEED MORE HOUOUIN KYOUMA LOCALIZE STEINS;GATE ELITE RIGHT THIS NANOSECOND." even though Elite's fucking trash compared to the original.
Honestly if it weren't for Daru's inclusion in Robotics;Notes DaSh I doubt we'd be getting it or R;N at all with how narrow the goddamn lens is for the fuckers localizing the SciAdv series.

i know of a couple vns id like translated but in my experience the ones that have enough acclaim to get a translation usually are the better vns in the industry.

Honestly outside of all the Chunsoft VNs and Phoenix Wright, no other VN looks interesting to me... they all seem to be generic dating sims with RPG maker tier art. I'm sure I'm wrong but that's just my impression.

OP here, thats an understandable opinion. there are vns ive found with a better story but SG has a certain charm to it along with unique, likable heroines as well as a high budget.
if you dont like any other spike chunsoft games, id recommend other nitroplus associated titles as they seem to be quite similar in their budget and quality
