Yet it is good. Fuck happened?

It’s just a paramount walking sim. “Here’s spectacle but no actual challenge getting there.” It’s unmemorable because of the lack of challenge and poorly designed levels.

It may be a course clear game but it’s not a very good one. As people like Barry Kramer have pointed out in their videos.

Oh, I thought you actually played games not watch some retards videos on them. When did you become a faggot?

>walking sim
I hate this board

>Ignores all points
>Copes insanely hard
Just what I expected from a Galaxy baby.

Quit being deluded faggot. This game is all spectacle, no substance.

Bump.

>As people like Barry Kramer have pointed out in their videos.

I was going to answer seriously until I read this

>All the letters with stars twinkling on them spell out U R MR GAY

>I can’t respond to ecelebs becuase I have an unnatural hatred for them!

it was better than sunshine at least

You wouldn’t have answered seriously anyway, triggered Galaxy baby. Mommy need to read you another story?

I personally really enjoyed both Sunshine and Galaxy. Probably cause I played them when I was younger, still good memories.

>Wojak
Good counter

This game has so much spectacle and shit going on and yet there’s not much that you actually do in it.

This is actually a time where it's okat to post a wojak. OP is a faggot not entitled to a real answer.

You lost me at "people" and "Barry Kramer"

Doesn't matter what it wants to be, OP, cuz it is BEST 3D MARIO GAME.

Therein lies a lesson for us all about the fallacy of seeking a discrete identity.

>Mario
>Challenge

Where Galaxy 3 at?

i had fun playing it

It's the most fun I've ever had with a Mario game, and I've been playing since the 80s.

Do you need to make this same thread every week? It's linear with few levels that have more freedom.

>Super Mario 64
>Wide range of player choice, you pick a star but outside of a select few, you can basically get any given star no matter what mission you selected and sometimes there are ups and downs to picking particular missions as far as achieving other stars
>Can beat the game while only scratching the surface of the content, if you did not like a level you could ignore it entirely and focus on the ones you did like or simply dip your feet into all of them but not go too hard and get enough stars to beat the game in your own way
>Super Mario Sunshine
>NO YOU WILL GET THIS STAR FROM THIS EPISODE ONLY
>DO ALL OF THE EPISODES WE DIDN'T MAKE ENOUGH CONTENT
>At least the levels sort of feel like 64? Sometimes?
>Super Mario Galaxy series
>Player choice returns-ish but it's more or less which heavily restricted straightforward levels you want to play
>Additional stars for levels are relegated to playing the same straight line over again until you fulfill some condition along the way
>Design is almost entirely based around gimmicks exclusive to a level or two rather than strong core gameplay. Mario can barely do anything after all now that they successfully removed all of his moves and tools from the past (Sunshine at least had all of the FLUDD modes)

Odyssey was mostly a return to form but there were some real retarded choices like the postgame stars not being available in the first run of the world and the moon challenge design is all over the place. Do appreciate the change to not get bumped out of the level when you collect a moon. Also not a big fan of how Mario controls and he's still fairly limited feeling, but the cap toss and capture mechanic are quite good.

Sorry, shine not star when referring to Sunshine. Truly the most grieve error of my day.

>jewtubers
>people
Pick one, zoomer.

>As people like Barry Kramer have pointed out in their videos.

So then it's contradicting itself and not entirely linear?

>"This game doesn’t know what type of Mario game it wants to be."
Hey I remember this exact same thread from awhile ago. Is this the same autist from before or is this the trendy new meme opinion parroted from some popular YouTuber?

>"As people like Barry Kramer have pointed out in their videos."
Ahh of course. Sounds like a combination of both I'm guessing.

Yes it is a combination and it's not a very good one.
