We're fine without it. I've been loving this series since my big brother rented RE Code Veronica and it came with the DMC 1 demo disc, and have no problem saying that DMCV provided such complete and satisfying closure that I, and most other fans of this series, would be perfectly happy if there were never another DMC game again. I mean closure both story-wise and in terms of quality, because of what a hard 11/10 V was. There's really nothing left to be said or done apart from just basking in the afterglow that we finally got it.
Anyway Itsuno's working on Dragons Dogma 2 now anyway and that's what we want.
It's retarded to say we should never get another DMC, but I do think the old cast, maybe the universe as a whole even, can be safely retired now.

of course i'm not saying there "should" never be another one; i'll happily take more as long as it doesnt interfere with DD2. But I see threads of anons asking "what do you wanna see in DMC 6" and my response is '.... nothing really, i'm good'
I don't like pseudo realistic style in DMC games. It looks like shit. DMC 4>DMC 3>DMC 1>DMC 5>DMC 2 in terms of visual.
Dominic Anderson
4 is ugly as shit.
Brayden Gray
Another DMCV shill thread made by DMCV kun
get some sunlight and take care of yourself, kid.
Sebastian Collins
i have never made a V thread, i had to put off playing V for a full year due to life shit and only got around to beating it this past weekend.
Kevin Brown
Time for Nero to prove he can solo carry a dmc game
Logan Davis
>complete and satisfying closure What closure? what happened to 2?
Hunter Wilson
dante isnt hot in DMC5 feels bad man
Juan Ortiz
Man I don't care if the graphics are decent on a technical level. DMC5 is one ugly ass game. Just disgusting & repulsive to look at in general.
Elijah Jones
They can make a new DMC, they just need to try something new but keep the combat.
DMC5 was clearly supposed to be a last hurrah for old school action games.
Tyler Bailey
I dont know how you people can unironically think dmc 5s story was good.
Lucas Ward
I want a dmc 1 remake by itsuno. You cant even do cool combos in the first game. It's shit
Brody Ortiz
>I dont know how you people can unironically think dmc 5s story was good.
I loved it but they tried to cram too much into a single game, a lot of important story bits were left in side material.
Matthew Peterson
Every game since PS2 DMC has been a departure from the original artystyle, even DMC3 toned down the gothic and horror qualities.
Cooper Nelson
You combo fags have already ruined the rest of the franchise and now you want to ruin the only good game in the series aswell. Fucking hate how you faggots hijacked this franchise.
Ryan Murphy
What 2?
Evan Torres
Sure DMCVkun
You totally didn't say you'd make a DMCV thread every day until you've convinced everyone to like it.
The circle jerk is over. Give up.

Both the original creator and the guy who took over make combo games. Ever think that was the original idea and only the vestiges of RE and technical limitations kept it so simple?
PS I've been with dmc from day one and the puzzles were never the strength of the series, nor were the platforming sections.
Samuel Cox
all Capcom needs to do is release Vergil DLC with 4 more additional playable characters (Vergil, Lady & Trish, Lucia), add an official Bloody Palace coop, add all the good shit from previous games (weapons and all), and make a story that will totally conclude the adventures of the whole DMC crew and the Sparda universe. There. I don't care if it's another $60. But then again this is modern Capcom were talking about so I have zero hopes of this happening.
Robert Jackson
Oh, that reminds me, we could still get a sparda prequel since we know jack shit about all of that. But sparda probably isn't a haha pizza type of guy so who knows if they would want to take on that vibe.
Alexander Sullivan
Yeah but the combat was actually challenging and enemys werent braindead combo dummys
Nathan Walker
you can do some cool stuff on the ground. DMC1 came out early on PS2 before Kingdom hearts introduced air combo strings to action games so the air combat was very limited. when Capcom made Maximo: Army of Zin and DMC2 they were on the right track with their combat ideas despite funky execution this transition period was necessary for DMC to become what it is today. DMC is still a good game and revolutionary, defining action games today but expecting it to have the combat of the games that stemmed and evolved from it is unreasonable.
Angel Taylor
Not this parroted shit again. I'd bet money you get hit all the time in 3 4 and 5. The one enemy limitation also limits encounter design.
I love the entire series barring two. I just find that DMC1 fans exaggerate a lot in defense of their game. I suspect it's a reaction to people dismissing it as outdated, but it's still silly.
Luke Reed
How were the enemies not braindead in 1? Literally the only thing they had going for them was that a bunch of them force the player to stop playing by suddenly countering mid-stun lock, after which you just jump away and continue mashing at the same button.
Joshua Perez
A Nero/Vergil bonding game would be kino Give the two of them a chance to shine by themselves with Dante being limited to only a cameo
i'll happily take a DMC1 remake, but it doesn't need to be totally itsuno -- perhaps he can just pop his head in the door periodically to make sure they're not fucking it up. Really, i just want the hot-swap between alastor and ifrit to be faster (you CAN do it mid-combo but it basically only works if you throw a round-trip). I'm 50/50 on the fixed/track camera angles, because they do have some amazing framing but i also want to see more of the castle.
