Forgotten DS titles

Any forgotten ds titles that aren't from the cookiecutter list you always find on every fucking google search?

I'm talking stuff like Fossil Fighters and The Dark Spire in terms of "they're good but nobody fucking talks about them"

Lemme contribute with something for my own thread because I don't want it to die before I get a bunch of new game suggestions.

Decent little RPG based on the wizard of oz with a lot more care put into it than one would expect.

How are the DS Crystal Chronicles? I was a fan of the GCN one

Now this is the type of stupid fucking nonstop action I like.
Will check it out.

Scurge Hive which was also on gba but I played it on ds

Although the Echoes one had lots of improvements, Rings of Fate had a better singleplayer experience, because of the plot.

Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal

>Scurge Hive
Looks nice, at first glance it's like a top-down metroid.
Into my emuparadise list it goes.

My taste for guitar hero and GH-likes died with my childhood user.
That accessory looks cool tho.

You're asking for DS games
you don't also get to play the maturity high ground

not gona lie i played the fuck out of this game.

I didn't discover this game until I bought a flashcart and filled it up with a bunch of stuff I'd never heard of, but it's a great timekiller.

Funny, I was actually just checking out gameplay vids of it because someone mentioned the game in the comments of a gameplay trailer for 's suggestion.

Might check it out.

someone else posted this the other day and I thought it looked super fun. will give it a try in an emulator in a few days

Theresia and the Dementium games are horror games that don't deserve to go under the radar. The latter are even technical marvels, those fuckers are FPSs that run at a solid 60FPS on a goddamn DS.

You misunderstand my post.
It's less to say that I'm mature, more to lament the fact that my childhood is gone and with it my enjoyment of plenty of games that used to make me happy.

Also my condolences on those missed devil's quads.

Already have the dementium games, and yes, I'm surprised with how well they run.
Might check out theresia though, never heard of it.

I love DS games

Me too user, got any to post?

If you guys like mystery you should try Hotel Dusk and the sequel Last Window: Secret of cape west

wanna play this as i loved yggdra union on gba
but damn i finished the long tutorial and still cant play it well..

This is still stunning for a DS game. Never finished it though

Looks very visually appealing yet at the same time stupidly complicated.
Will try for shits and giggles, maybe I'll get blessed with bigbrain and end up figuring out how to play better than most people trying to get into it, and end up having a great time.

literally just a hybrid of chess and jrpg
also have fun unlocking the true ending i have literally no idea how people were supposed to figure out this shit on their own

Yeah Demetium is actually pretty spoopy but the controls are not good and you'll probably die a good amount just trying to navigate.

The Four Swords port with wireless multiplayer

God I fucking miss it

I wanna like it so bad but I hate how obtuse the character recruitment and placement is and I hate the item system.

I remember one of the releases of this had a problem with save corruption, was it the DS version or the PSP version?

Played several hours of this in one sitting but never touched it after that. Does it improve past the point where the gruff teddy-bear bounty hunter shows up?

That looks amazing.

i don't really remember but i think it keeps about the same over the whole game, i liked it though

>was it the DS version or the PSP version
There's a PSP version?
Damn, now I'm going to have to decide on which console to play it.

Nacho libre DS

Yes, basically. It has some isometric platforming which has been known to filter people in other games but worth a emu

youtube.com/watch?v=da05CGAJpkY

I remember liking glory days 2, don't really hear anyone mention it.

meant for

The entire dept. heaven series is available on psp, also i think KitN on psp is supposed to be a more complete version

Is this the Cory in the House GBA of DS titles?

Looks good. Ima try that out.

I'll recommend this game until the end of time. Fireworks-based arcade shooter/bullet hell, ton of levels of modes to it with bosses at the end of every world. The game introduces new elements over time, making it all the more challenging as you progress.
Super overlooked and it's dirt cheap to get a copy.
I've got the 3DS port,I should go back and finish it

The touchscreen strumming was weird and it was cramped as fuck. But it's still better than Rockband on PSP.

How come DS had all those cool games and switch is just indie shovelware galore?

Only correct answer

Attached: download.jpg (236x213, 14.99K)

You get used to the controls a couple chapters in.
Which is great because the game throws some chase scenes at you in like chapter 2 and not knowing how to move or do combat effectively adds to the tension a lot.

Inazuma Eleven trilogy

8 more games and we'll have a full top ten from one of the clickbait sites.
