I was gifted mine and there is absolutely nothing worth playing unless youre a woman or between the ages of 6-12. Glad I got it for free. Imagine dropping 300 bucks to play fucking Animal Crossing and bingbing.

It'll probably get less games since there's going to be a massive power difference between the new Xbox and PS5, and the current Switch; modern devs are notoriously lazy fucks so I don't see them putting in the effort for Switch versions of PS5 games. Exclusive third party games are mostly out of the question. Unless they release a new model.

The Switch is already nearing the end of its life dude. The industry no longer functions like it did in previous gens where consoles got genuine unique 3rd party games made exclusively for that console.

Switch came out 3 years ago and for core gamers, it's already near the end of its life. We'll get BOTW2, *MAYBE* Metroid and a few other shitty titles like the new Paper Mario.

He's right though. Modern third-party devs are way too lazy and greedy to make exclusive games. Why make a game for a console they have no loyalty towards if they could make the same thing for three consoles? Nintendo has to funnel their own money into devs like Platinum to get their games to stay exclusive, and that's a rare thing as it is.

Not unless Nintendo is willing to bankroll them. 3rd parties hardly make exclusives anymore for ANY platform because of the ease of porting between platforms nowadays. Unless they are being paid a substantial amount of money to make a game exclusive there is no incentive to do so because you reach a wider audience by releasing on every possible platform.

PS2 and DS were utterly based. These two consoles alone give you an enormous catalog of quality games/shovelware. The two last good systems to have ever graced this industry. God hand, The World Ends With You... so many great titles. It's not fair
