Why follow game reviews? They only made sense back in the 80s/90s when print magazines were our primary source of info for new releases. Now you have online videos and streaming LPs for everything. You can easily make your own judgments rather than getting your opinions from an online personality.

Video games have objective review components. Visual fidelity among ports, framerate/performance, bugs, etc. Not all platforms are equal. Ideally this is where reviews would focus, instead of the same copy/paste subjective reviews that are always written: "the graphics are good...and I liked the story....I give it an arbitrary number out of 10."
