I don't care what the devs THOUGHT they were making with the original RE 1/2/3, they were great psychological horror games that did zombies right. RE7 and the Remakes just don't fucking get the point. Sentient fungus blobmonsters aren't interesting or scary. The horror in the remakes takes a complete backseat to the campy action movie bullshit.
