It would have to depend on if the games are worth it and the console itself adds any value. The only console Ive bought in the last 10 years is switch. Mainly because I enjoy Nintendo games and want to support the company and the portability adds value. I wouldnt buy a playstation or xbox because they offer nothing a pc can't do better and Sony exclusives aren't that appealing lately. So Sega would have to give me an incentive to buy.

This is exactly my mindset. Plus, I believe having SEGA back in will force Nintendo's hand. Right now, for what it's worth, Nintendo is competing with themselves while Sony and Microsoft battle to be the best budget, non-upgradable gaming PC .

Not sure why you would considering it's just going to be an Xbox with a Sega logo on it. See above. If the rumors are true Microsoft is designing the hardware for them. Presumably in exchange for their games being exclusive to Sega/Xbox/PC. Either that or Microsoft is buying them outright.
