The SSX franchise dying is a crime against humanity. Imagine SSX4 on PS5/SeX, we could have huge fucking tracks, 60fps and awesome online gameplay against others
IT'S TRICK TO ROCK AROUND TO ROCK AROUND TO ROCK AROUND IT'S TRICKAY
Fuck I can't wait to play this when I get home. Arcade sports games and weed go together like chocolate and peanut butter
>boarding from peak to base in SSX3
we have to go back
SSX 3 is a literal 10/10, I would give anything for an HD port that included the full OST.
You don't want it to come back. If it did it would be filled with scummy monetization similar to Fifa and such
SSX on PS3 was shit too. I was so disappointed when I got it
Technically, they didn't

SSX2012 was actually fucking good. The deadly descents was the worst aspect of the game but it had some seriously solid race and trick tracks. I still play it, it's really good. Love the custom soundtracks you can make too.
You can at least play it on an XBoner through backwards compatibility with higher resolutions
extreme sports in real life died. no one cares about skateboarding and snowboarding and stuff anymore
Unfortunately there weren't any real good SSX games after Tricky but with that said I would go crazy for a sequel for current or nextgen.
There were dogshit extreme sports games back then too
>tfw SSX and NBA Street are no more
rocket league is the only arcadey sports game big at the moment
Well yes but it would still be great to get a new silly SSX Tricky-styled snowboardgame and not some hyperrealistic garbage.
Parts of it were incredibly frustrating but I still played the shit out of that game. Liked it waaaay more than 3. I never got what people love about that game. Tricky is still king though.
>tfw I have to make art for shitty AAA games to support the art I want to create for more obscure games
>Unfortunately there weren't any real good SSX games after Tricky
SSX3 is real good though
SSX on 360 was disappointing, I hated the survival aspect and the controls didnt feel right
I worked on a sports arcade game that was hailed. The reason is because media outlets have an incentive to push whatever narrative a company wants, like EA. They saw money in realism since they own sports licenses so the genre died. You faggots didn't buy the games so you pay the price. If you want it to come back, stop giving journalists clicks and don't even mention their sites as you help their seo on the internet. Try a game out, hell pirate it and see if it's worth buying
Send that to me
The GOAT in arcade hockey fun.
Man I'm hopin that the Tony Hawk Pro Skater remakes bring back interest to the genre and maybe we can finally get Skate 4
Wow, someone else who played Hitz. We had a lot of fun with that back in the day.
>NFL BLITZ 2000 Gold
>baseball with real teams but everyone beats the shit out of each other
I remember playing the demo back in the day, does it still hold up?
Sports fans prefer stats to fun so they wanted more simulations
>Wii introduces balance board
>no new 1080
I assume because it's a niche that's too close to its mainstream counterpart.
Why would EA care to continue NBA Street when NBA 2KWhatthefuckever makes cash hand over fist by being a failed dream simulator.
Reminisce Reminisce
Because extreme punk culture disappeared, what with SSX, Pro Skater, and to a lesser extent, Crazy Taxi.
