So some autist recently rebalanced ST to make more characters viable and to get Akuma unbanned. It was done so well there was recently an online tournament for it on Team Spooky. What's the possibility of older fighting games that are still good but too jank to play competitively getting an update like this? Pic related.

Nothing really serious, I'm trying to find again that feeling fighting games gave me when I was a kid, but so far only Heroines and KOF XIV give me the closest to that, everything else feels like a chore.

Nah, playing someone that knows what they're doing in COTA is hardly any fun because there's no hit scaling. You're dead in like 3 seconds. Capcom really didn't know what they were doing back then. It's not like MvC2 where you can still get fun matches with the jank. There's a reason nobody plays the older ones anymore.

Right now DBFZ, GBVS, UNI and TFH. Although I'm taking a break from all except TFH. DBFZ is just too frustrating to play online with mashers at every level. I had some retard keep rematching me while never changing his gameplan and I ended up ranking up on him. I just don't like GBVS very much, too slow, it's not my thing. UNI's netcode is the worst among these, but I still just got on to lab for a while. TFH is pretty good, but weird for me to get into visually. I don't mean the horses, I mean that I'm more used to guessing what the opponent would do based on their human(oid) characters position. It's hard to explain, bottom line is it's fun and the netcode is great. Bless GGPO. I've been in the mood to play BB but I've got no one to play it with and I'm not going to download 70gb just to lab this retard.
