Why cant we get real monster girl Yoma demons anymore this franchise has lost its balance.

I'm impressed they keep finding ways to go with the plot that suck more and more. It was rad with just ninja battles, then it was rad with ninja vs. demon battles. Now it's water guns, killing off the universe I liked, and turning the bad guys into even more roster bloat.

The whole plot ends up being about balance, and then they fuck it up. What a meta commentary.

Hey, that's what kickstarted the franchise in the first place, but I agree that trying to huminize yoma after years of telling us they are basically a force of nature is a shitty direction.

I did kinda think about that as I wrote the post, but I believe 10 characters with 2 side-ish ones is relatively easy to write for. The like, 40 we have now aren't.
If we ever do get a new game, Homura will never be anything more than "LMAO crab", and Yagyu will be permanently just gay. At least Yumi will be forever infallible.

According to an user summarizing New Link's story so far, there was a moment when Yumi went to attack Fubuki and absolutely failed, while Homura had a plan that saved everyone's asses, so there's that at least.

That is rad, but I'm willing to bet they put a lot more emphasis on Yumi nobly battling some grand evil, and then shoehorned another girl in to support.
In an effort to sound less bitchy, I gotta mention I did like the flashback bit from the anime. I am weirdly down to watch a Senran Kagura about urban ninjas in the 70's or whatever. The SK world's cool enough that if you took out the Life and Hometown, I'd still like it.

If they do another SK thing, they should do a sorta soft reboot with a new cast in the same setting. No past characters appear at all

Thats a big reason alot of people got into it: a neat world with fleshed out characters. The fact that said characters are hot as fuck was just icing.

Reminder all the Senrans are canonically gay and anything outside of Burst and 2 is not worth playing
