There's no reason to play FF14 outside once every 2 years to catch up on the post expansion story and new expansion launch. As a whole, it's a terrible mmorpg

Horde was 90% elves before, alliance was 20% void elves and 50% night elves. Now it's gonna be 100% on each side. And I wouldn't complain if it was hot high elves twinks, but they are not... they are going to be female high elves, BY MALE PLAYERS!

Blood elf Huntard is the worse combination ever to come out. It's going to be worse come TBC classic when people keep hearing about that 1 button macro top DPS.

I think what meant is that, the backstory of playable Void Elves is not that they are high elves, but that they are Blood Elves who turned to void magic, turned into a new "race" called Void Elves, and are now aligned with the aliance. So basically, you're a blood elf and you come from the horde canonically.

And sure, you can say high elves and blood elves are the same, but every single player Void Elf in the alliance was in the horde right before joining the alliance, sucked on life essence like vampires ,etc.

Essentially, your character went from:
High Elf in Alliance > Blood elf in Horde > Void Elf > High Elf
You're never going to be able to truly play a pure high elf, with a pure high elf backstory or high elf abilities. It's always going to be a blood elf vampire, turned into a void abomination, but with blue eyes and pale skin.

Your character is still going to use black face and have tentacles when in combat.

But then what reason is there to play WoW

XIV isn't an MMO. After you play through the story, you basically afk in a city while doing dungeons. The game's as wide as a lake, but shallower than a puddle.
Don't lie, user. 5.2's entirety could be done in two hours, maybe three. And it's going to get worse because Square is siphoning off funds to finance other shit.
