FF 5

I just made it here in FF 5. Without spoilers, I'm pretty close to the end right?

No.

What percentage would you say?

You are like a 3rd of the way through the game

yes

This. You're not even close.

Crazy, figured since I explored almost the entire world this was the end. Unless it tries to pull an FF4 and send me to another world.

Hope youve been keeping up with blue magic and stealing for your chemist. You do intend on using the best classes yes?

Nobody tell him.

Currently have Berserker Lv 1, White Mage 6, Summoner 5 and Black Mage 6. I never like blue mages in any Final Fantasy. Never used Strago and the only reason I used Khimari in 10 was because you could send him to literally any other sphere grid.

he should know already at this point. They already explained the meteors and Galuf by now

Blue magic is broken strong in this one. Great damage, healing, and buff spells. Death claw works on lots of hard enemies. Dark Spark can be abused to cheese with LV Magic

Level 5 death is a god tier skill in this game because it unlocks the best grinding spot in the game

I never said it wasn't broken, I just don't like it in general. Generally play jobs/characters based on who I like rather then if they're OP or not. For example my favorite party in FF6 was Sabin, Edgar, Umaro and Gogo.

I played a lot of FF before this one, I think I like this the best, my list so far:

>FF5
>FF9
>FF7
>FF10-2
>FF13-2
>FF10
>FF13-3 (LR)

6 and 12 I haven't finished yet, both are fairly rough for me. 3 or World of FF is up next most likely

By "explained" you mean the intro where you watch him jump into a teleporter, then he "magically" gets his memory back and automatically says I'm not from this planet lol.

thats like give or take 40%

6 is awesome, you should definitely finish it. 12 is good as long as you didn't pick bad jobs and are playing the version with the 4x fast forward to go past the super boring parts.

I mean other than Umaro thats a top tier team. But u play u.

My team was Cyan, Edgar, Umaro, and Mog.
Set up them jumps and afk charge Cyan.

12 starts out so strong but I've been filtered by boredom in the same place twice now. You get to this underground railroad area (idk what it's called) i must have been there for 15 hours it felt like, never seen the other end of it.

6 was good but the guide I was reading implored me to grind for the blue magic immediately after getting the green haired kid and I just lost interest. It was fine I just dropped it for later cuz of the grinding

nvm I forgot a big part
shit dude that like 30%

HAHA

No.

Not even close. On my first playthrough I thought I was at the end of the game when you fight Exdeath at his castle but there is still another good 10 hours of gameplay collecting the sealed weapons and doing the final dungeon. Although the sealed weapons are entirely optional and you can go straight into the final dungeon

You talking about when you get thrown in prison and have to escape?

For 6 why use a guide for the first time? Just ignore Gau. You can beat the entire game without using him. He always annoyed me so I got rid of him as soon as I could.

because FF is notorious for missables or timed quests. I'm not following the guide by the letter, I'm just reading the suggestions and the stuff to watch out for.

True, if you go back and play 6 just drop Gau and you should have fun. Sending him out to the Veldt to learn skills is so boring.

Also is it true that freelancer is the most OP class? I just need to max out Monk/Summoner/Thief then become a freelancer and win?

Bare is pretty good, but I remember having to max every class for it to be more viable than Mime which also gets a stat boost for maxing every class except for itself iirc.

This was a long time ago and also anthology edition so there might be a difference or i might be misremembering

12 is hot, flamboyant, homosexual garbage

Freelancers retain the stats and skills of any job you maxed. But you need to max it, which isn't hard.

You don't need any guides for 6, at all. The game is flexible enough that you can do whatever you want and you will never be screwed.

depending on what you liked about 5, you might enjoy 3 even more
but most people enjoy 5 more than they do 3

ok cool, i'll probably play it next then since I'm more familiar with it

how did Faris hided those?

Binding and a big pirate coat.

Is this the one you go to the moon?

that's IV

That's 4. 5 is the one with the job system

>Crazy, figured since I explored almost the entire world
HE DOESN'T KNOW
