>go into main lobby
>game shits the bed with 3 fps
fun! also how do i reliably get stuff like CAST parts? is it all delegated to the player shops and scratch tickets? shits hard to navigate

play jp version

i cant even get past no user after fighting the computer to not hide versions of the game in folders humans arent allowed to view

For CAST parts its either buy from others, try your hand at AC Scratch, or buy a mission pass since they usually have one set of cast armor up there. Check out the NA website to preview the armors before you buy tickets/pass.

The next three steps may be optional, it depends on your system configuration and permissions. You can try skipping to step five and seeing if that works first, if not try again from step two!

Download WinAero Tweaker, this technically isn't necessary but it'll make it way easier for the less tech-savvy among you! You can find it here: winaero.com/

Once WinAero is installed, scroll down to "Context Menu", and find "Take Ownership" - you want to select it and then tick the box that says "Add Take Ownership context menu to files and folders." You can always come back and turn this off later if you don't want it anymore!

Go to "C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps" and right click on "pso2_bin" and select "Take Ownership"! A command prompt will appear and it will slowly go through all of the files in this folder, granting you ownership of the PSO2 game files. This is important for what we're about to do..

Open the "pso2_bin" folder, then rename "pso2launcher.exe" to something else. I'd recommend something simple like adding a dash in front of the name, for example: "-pso2launcher.exe"

Make a copy of "pso2.exe" and rename that copy to "pso2launcher.exe"

Launch the game as you normally would, via the start menu, a pin on your taskbar, or through the shop directly. The launcher will be skipped entirely, and it will boot directly into the game, now with surprisingly less lobby lag!

if they had released the NA version as b2p and integrated the scratch tickets all into the fun store they probably would've made more money than they're going to make now
imagine thinking
>ah yes, it is time to localize this japanese game
>what do we need to fix?
>clearly we need a dub full of bad voice actors and to delete all of the flavor text because fuck translating that! even though fan translators already did it
>oh, oh oh oh! and we need to stop them from making 4 foot tall characters because clearly children are 4 feet tall and that's not okay
>hey uh, should we uh, change anything about the monetization? gacha isn't really as popular in the west...
>NOPE, ALL OF THAT IS FINE, CHANGE LITERALLY NOTHING, ACTUALLY YOU KNOW WHAT LET'S ADD A BATTLEPASS AND CHARGE THEM FOR THAT TOO HAHA
fucking hell

psotanic

probably

I mean you COULD just buy the gacha outfits off the market for meseta from people who buy the scratch tickets and got either dupes or ones they don't want.

>SIX BARS LODOS

FUCK OFF
I RAN OUT OF DIMATES, RAN BACK TO MY SHIP, GRABBED SOME MORE, RAN AWAY FROM THE ONE PLAYER HELPING ME AND STILL GOT AN S-RANK FOR HOW MANY OF THESE FUCKERS I KILLED

is ship 2 still full?

>you could just give your in game money to paypigs for their scraps
yick

There's a fix for it you know, just requires some finangling

i might reinstall if it's really fixed, but it's unplayable for me as it is. every mission it plays perfectly, then i go back to lobby to turn in some orders and it runs at literally 3 fps.

I'll just hold off on fucking with my files. I feel like messing with it too much is just going to break the damn thing.

>get real money items for fake money with other people having spent the real money
>yuck
???

is there a decent text-based resource for beginners like me to learn more about the game? I'm having a lot of fun but I also have no idea what the fuck I'm doing.

have you seen JP? the cost of some of the cosmetics? nevermind the fact that if you don't have a large player shop, something you can only get by paying, making money is limited to dailies and weeklies which aren't going to get you everything you want
it's only a matter of time before NA gets there

>gacha isnt as popular in the west.

Have you seen the FGO NA salt threads?

Have you seen all the AC costume and emotes around PSO2 NA?

Is your FPS unlocked? Might need to cap it at 60 90 or 120.

>FGO
those aren't real people, let alone westerners

Honestly I learned a lot just from doing the main missions.

it worked with absolutely nothing else being necessary you dumb mongrel

I killed 10 once hunting for some stupid enemy. That big cunt and his cousins really wanted to die that day.

just do the missions it tells you to do
you'll unlock everything in order

will they fix the translation and min height when this gets onto steam

You fags are pretty quickly going to realise what the endgame is. The Doodoo and the grinding.

Why does the lock-on drop arbitrarily, is there some reason why I keep losing it? Also it kinda REALLY fucking sucks at switching parts since most of the time on bosses it'll get locked up switching between a select couple bits.

the devs seem surprisingly open to listening to us, but presumably they're still imperfect and also their hands are probably tied in some places, just watch their twitter

I am only level 12 and I've already realized what the game is about and can imagine the endgame. Probably farming the same mission again and again either for outfits or actual gear upgrades.

However the game is what you makes it to be, I just want to look pretty and have someone fuck my character.

>Except it isn't, because this happened in Japan.
Are you trying to tell me downloading the game duplicated itself into several different restricted folders and then deleted itself after you shut it down in Japan?

Nah. It's already confirmed that the Window's 10 store is 100% responsible for all of these errors. Because the Window's 10 store does this to most of their games.

You get tickets that let you open up a shop off the fun scratches.

this. playing summoner and targetting specific parts of bosses is ass.

there is a limit to how many items you can list for sale as a free player iirc, paying players get much, much more
if you want to sell shit as affix bait, you need the extra slots

When does the fun part of the game start?
Cause after playing like 20 hours, outside of the one alert mission I've done and also talking shit with my friends while playing, the game's been pretty boring

Does your Auxillary's class matter?

Stop treating it like a mmo, it is not supposed to be played 12 hours a day. It is by all means monster hunter/god eater

>It is by all means monster hunter
Which is also something I play 12 hours a day
I don't get your point

>Telling a bunch of fucking neets in underage girl clothes to stop indulging in escapism at length

>it is not supposed to be played 12 hours a day
that's exactly how people play it tho? and how SEGA would like people to play it?

The limit is the same for everyone, the only annoying part as f2p is that you'll need to keep scratching FUN for the passes

Where lewd people gather in game...

>Zig Forums STOP PLAYING GAMES
>GO HAVE A LIFE OR SOMETHING

>game installs and works fine
>close game
>decide to play game gain
>all files gone

This clearly isn't a problem with the launcher, is it Windows or the Windows Store or something, because something is deleting shit off my system.

how would anyone gather anywhere specific with everywhere overloaded and divided into a couple hundred different instances
