Yes it's great, with boss battles being the worst part. Plz Square just finish the Jensen trilogy.

too popular

It has some degenerate design like XP for everything including going through vents, or something like hacking giving you XP but finding the code doesn't. Encourages degenerate gameplay and effectively limits options.
Preferred the original where the XP was given once you reached a key location regardless of how you did it.
Very enjoyable game, though.

They fixed them in the director's cut

>we
Fucking idiot

if you didn't save Malik you are a degenerate

it's not even hard so you have no excuse

>tfw forgot about the engineer and jock fucking died
shit game

More importantly, did (You) like it user?

>the one single part of the game that made you go full lethal guns blazing for that section
What's her name?

I love the gameplay but the writing is so shit I can't forgive the devs

>degenerate gameplay
this man is a retard

It was quite good actually you faggot how was it shit please show me your elite skills in dialogue and narrative?

>i couldn't make a harem with all the cute girls so the writing is bad

I dunno. I haven't got it because I don't know if the game is still having glitches and issues. I've been warned away from the Director's Cut but at this point I have nfc which version to play.

There are almost zero women in Dx1, what the fuck are you talking about?
>please show me your elite skills in dialogue and narrative?
Retarded argument. The writers did a shit job with one of the best prompts in history and that's just sad. The plot points are okay, but the actual meat is soulless. Sarif is okay tho, Adam is cringe and Eliza is a cringelord

Rescue Malik. Everything else I can stealth past without even using the cloak with my eyes closed at this point.

>Retarded argument
>criticizes only with one sentence

Thought so faggot you don't know jack shit

Basically I'm asking which version of the game should I get and is it still horribly broken?

>do better is a sound argument
Sure thing. I'm giving you this (you) but I'm not writing you paragraphs, gaylord

It's okay, I wasn't a big fan of the boss battles and the expansion breaks the pacing of the main story

I can't get anywhere trying to play HR in 2020 despite having pretty low standards. It just really stinks of xbox360 FPS.

Doesn't help that Mankind Divided was such an iterative sequel to it, meaning it plays exactly like HR except better, so why not go play MD? Unfortunately it's also a boring dead end game that does nothing.

accurate. You can hop over a fence with some box stacking, but still have to hack the lock for the XP

>almost zero women in Dx1
Manderlys secretary kek
The woman in the womans restroom
Anna navarra
Shannon something or other, I think shes stealing supplies

All the women in the Hong Kong level (market vendors, restaurant, in bars..)
All the women in NY

There are probably dozens of women in Deus Ex

Missing Link was actually great DLC. It was like 3 or so hours of content

They did not. You still have to fight every boss, there's just tricks you can use to beat them without having to shoot them. But the fact that the game has traditional bosses in the first place is antithetical to its design.

>I've been warned away from the Director's Cut
?

It's much better as a standalone game, sticking it in the main story kills both.

oh I didn't have an issue with the DLC, just with the way it's integrated in DC leaving you without augs near the end of the game (I know you get most of it back)

>tfw I did the entire game non lethal but didn't realize the intro counted

Yeah, but only Navarre and the "what a shame" prostitute are plot relevant (somewhat in the second case). What's your point?

If you think women aren't relevant unless they're part of the unskippable main plot, then there are only like ten male characters too

>But the fact that the game has traditional bosses in the first place is antithetical to its design.
Never been a problem for the franchise before.

2nd best im sim since DX1

women were never relevant besides being birthing machines, what's your point?
