Different teams and artists. Riot during league only days always had fanservice or sexy designs. The SJW stuff always referred to are about some (or more, we can't tell) of the people in their team. For example, IronStylus was a huge SJW that wanted to change Leona's design to remove her boob chestplate and do other far more extreme things. Some of the people are known as Riot staff have said some question things as well. Many of the artists have done other things for other companies or have their own personal work that's sexualized or just sex art. In all likely hood it's just the people higher up or within their office that are pushing stuff on artists who don't give a shit about it. The card game and mobile game may have more freedom as a result of different people involved. I mean, just look at how much more quality the mobile game has in terms of models and animations. I'm sure it has its own separate art team as well.

That's one of the artist I'm referring to. Riot as an "entity" in terms of its most toxic members are extremely SJW but that doesn't mean many of the guys who can actually create shit are. Aside from guys like IronyStylus, who made it a point to push his agenda, most of the artists we know of do nothing but sexy or flat out porn art on their own time. At best the people who get to enforce what designs are chosen will only be able to direct the artists what to do but it's still them creating the designs. The mobile game may have it much more relaxed in that regard, on the count of having less of those people in control or a completely different theme (not counting artists) entirely.

There's also Hozure, who did some art for some videos in their youtube channel (as far as I know he's done anyway) and on his free time also draws big fat Tristana milkers.

Also reminder Riot is aware of rule34 content and were totally cool with it, unlike Blizzard who tried to get OW porn taken down.

I think that's because LoL's OG team were actual players vs Blizzard's OW group being more business and stuff. LoL is far more shitty now and would probably pull something like that during this era of Neo Riot.

You can say what you want about the game or company itself but the art and music is one of the best on the market and that's a fact. Lore could be up there too if they didn't retcon everything every few months.

He's making way too much money to do commissions. Most artists drop commissions once they start getting the big bucks through Patreon, and this guy has a successful Patreon AND he's working with Riot.

We've been losing the artist being connected with their community feel ever since the reliance on commissions and the need to pander to different audiences was removed with Patreon's creation. On one hand its great Patreon made artists less reliant towards surviving on just commissions, but on the other hand it made them less open to experimentation. Many porn artists who only need vanilla in nature works delved into more hardcore (monster, etc.) related content due to them realizing they had to expand. Most of the time this turned out to their liking and it became something they enjoyed drawing. Now we have tons of artists who do mostly pin-ups or just vanilla-ish stuff, commission or not. Slugbox still does the occasional tentacle stuff but has long dropped doing the more hardcore shit he used to do, even dropping doing commissions completely. The only time they do exception commissions or just draw someone else's character is when that character is already popular from the user threw money at any artists they could find during the original commission boom era and solidified their girl as one people like to draw.

I agree with you completely. They just followed her official splash art design exactly. She always had curves but in this case, they actually censored her a bit. Her thighs and legs were fully exposed but are covered up in Wild Rift.
