Are you serious? That genre predates Apocalypse by over 10 years.
Yup, really good game. Interesting development history too, it was supposed to have a revolutionary patner system with Bruce Willis helping you out, but they couldn't make the ai work and just reworked the game to be more arcadey and play as bruce himself.
Also Die Hard Trilogy is also really neat, which makes it two surprisingly good psx games starring bruces willis.

found this in a bargain bin for like $3 and it was actually a really good time.
It was fun as fuck, loved playing this thing. I never finished the white house level though, there was this part with lava/fire and the screen went black and wound't load.
ONE was better.
This is one of those games I used to play the demo of over and over and loved but never once saw a copy to rent or buy one time in my life.

I remember this having a decent soundtrack too.
Not a game in particular but most THQ games I played were actually fun or at least as good as most Activision games at the time.

The first hour of Red Faction is fantastic, then they stop designing levels with geo mod in mind, or allow you to do much of it at all.
The split screen was great fun
Bu we play as bruce willis character. And spout a bunch of yippee ki yays but without the motherfucker because violence is okay but naughty words are too much.
