Mostly just that the default control system is “pause to shoot,” and the twin-stick option sucks because the c-stick is a horrible second movement. Otherwise, it’s great.

The problems with the main gameplay would have likely been lessened if they didn't have to shift that shit mid stream.
Despite how it led to Rare's legacy getting left to rot, when you look into how Nintendo treated its "2nd Parties" like Rare back in the day you understand why the owners wanted out.
Well, I say that but there's no guarantee they're not fucking assholes to their current 2nd Parties like Retro and Monolith. In fact, Platinum selling out to Tencent to get away from Nintendo probably suggests they're still shithead slavedrivers and backbiters.

To this day I think these are the best graphics for a Star Fox game. I still enjoy the details of the fur even if they're dated and the facial animation is quite enjoyable.
Wish Nintendo would remake this game with the Zelda Team and this time actually finish the damn game also improve the voice acting because some characters do sound completely annoying.
If this game ended up lousy it's not even the concept of the game that's to blame. It's changing the original game concept AND Microsoft buying Rare. That double whammy sabotaged the game.

Used to play this game all the damn time with my best friend. My only regret is never actually finishing the game. I believe I was stuck sometime after that level with the T-rex's walking about.
