Fug the bug

Can’t interact with scenery like in original paper mario except the ! prompts which you have to watch the animation for every single time. No option to defend, just “do nothing”. Have to play minigame to spy on enemies even though it’s not a character ability. I’m only 10 minutes into the game

There's a badge you can get early on that makes hard mode a little more manageable at the Git Gud store.

I just finished Ch.2 so it's item managment for me, unless you get bigger inventory space later on

The game basically punishes you if you don't do any side shit at the final boss.
I completed just a few side quests, made it to the end only to get my shit kicked in because the party only does like 1-3 basic attack damage.
The pacing was reaaally good up until this point.

The aesthetics and presentation are ugly as shit.

You get some more slots after a few levels.
It is a lot of item management at this point, I agree, but thankfully shit doesnt cost that much.
