His .gif is still colourful especially when compared with modern games, but the OP image is objectively boosted. I played on a SM2 emulator and the original PC port recently.

You're not wrong about the colors of the gif, however 90s 3D rendering hardware doesn't translate to the color gamma of PC DirectX/OGL cards and has to be adjusted. Nobody ever does it and just leaves it on the default, making everything washed out. Arguably the arcade original was over-saturated to combat the washed out projection screens, but that's a different kettle of fish.

Not at all. Sequel. Starring Kate"Cute" Green and Ryan Taylor. It uses the same bosses but they are different. Chariot has been reimagined as a "heat monster" and I kinda dig it.

idk most consoles dont have the gimmick motion controllers anymore so the experience would be a pain since its made for flicking and fast movement of a gun controller but maybe maybe someone at SEGA sees potential in releasing this

They gave HOTD3 and 4 PS3 ports, so why not? They don't want to devalue the arcade machines, they'll wait about five years before they give us a home port.

The Scarlet Dawn bosses were garbage. They only had three tarot cards left, High Priestess, Moon and Devil. They reuse two old bosses (Chariot and Hangedman) then High Priestess and Moon. Only Devil is left so if get to make another game the game will entirely be returning bosses with Devil as the only new one. Pathetic. I'm fine with them reusing old bosses, it's a natural thing to do when they have so little tarot cards left, but with that few tarot cards they should've used them all instead of trying to jew us to drag it out for another game. The bosses that we do have were shit too. Just rehashing Temperance's gimmick for both Moon and High Priestess. Moon looked cool but gameplay wise was garbage. It's a shame because this the previous game was HOTD4 which had SIX excellent boss fights (all new), the best boss roster of the entire series.

Even when the tarot cards are done you can still keep making games, just find a new motif to name the bosses after.
