Was this Venom or Big Boss?

It's Big Boss, Venom died at the end of Metal Gear 1
Source.
Are you retarded?
It was bullshit
Solid Snake you mongoloid
BB himself
The solid snake from Ghost Babel specifically
How did a simple medic after 9 years in hospital learn to shoot so well and all that? Where did he get the fighting skills identical to the best fighter in the world? They could make him look like a boss, but where did the skills come from?
MGS 3: Big Boss
MGS PO: Big Boss
MGS PW: Big Boss
MGS V Ground Zeroes: Big Boss
MGS V Phantom Pain: Venom Snake
Metal Gear 1: Solid Snake kills Venom Snake (which he thought was Big Boss)
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake burns Big Boss alive, but BB Survives
MGS: Solid Snake kills Liquid
MGS2 Tanker: Solid Snake
MGS2 Plant: Raiden kills Solidus Snake
MGS4: Solid Snake meets the real Big Boss again.
Miller and BB say “he was always the best man we had” implying he had a mega skillset before he got venom’d.
Its actually solidus
BiBo
He was one of those soldiers with S rank in everything
For comparison BiBo himself is merely A++
Big venom
Regardless, this shit always bothered me because it made the Boss's legacy seem less significant and legendary because there were other soldiers out there that were on his level well enough to be a convicinging clone.
It's Solidus you dolt
>For comparison BiBo himself is merely A++
Wait, what?
Play Peace Walker
I read somewhere about mind training or something like that and there was a theory that says when someone believes he's someone else, he tries to mimic them in incredible ways.
Venom woke up not remembering that he was a medic, he woke up believing he is Big Boss so he acted like him
Big Boss, you fucking clown. The whole point of MGSV was to solve one little plothole from MG1
Already have, was a while ago back on PSP, have been meaning to replay it on the HD version though
What's wrong with that? Big Boss wasn't some capeshit super hero, he was just considered the greatest soldier and the rest is his repudiation and legacy. Venom was the best soldier they had so could have been comparable. Big Boss was just an incredibly skilled soldier not some genetically engineered super clone like other people in the series
Again, BiBo is merely A++. There are many S-rank soldiers superior to him strictly skill-wise, like Medic. But they don't have his same achievements and personality.
BiBo gets an upper hand over other soldiers with tricks and creativity. CQC is a big one. See here how he can beat Volgin with CQC, but can't do anything once The Boss gives him a beating and makes him unable to use CQC properly.
youtu.be
jesus christ i need to play mgs3 again, why are the cutscenes so superior to mgs4 and mgsv's?
oh wait i can't
>it's locked to old consoles
emulator pcsx2 run tn perfectly
Why wasn't mgs 4 big boss voiced by solidus? Since he was the perfect clone and was old in mgs2 I wager that is what big boss sounded like too.
Because Big Boss was voiced by David Hayter in MGS3 (the one who voiced Solid Snake) so they kept the same voice actor
>this whole experience was just Revolver Ocelot training his hypnotic abilities so that he could use on himself later
If Konami didn't fire Kojima, MGS6 plot would be about how that was Venom and the real BIg Boss was alive and all this was part of his plan.
Stop being a fucking retard?
So who was the medic before all this? Where was he from? What was his old name?
Mgs 4 big boss isn't voiced by hayter though.
oh wow, I'm an idiot and thought it was David...
It's literally you, the player. Thats why you fill in your name and birthday to the doctor at the start of the game.
Big Boss is not a person, he's a story.
He was a very good operative and a very skilled leader, but what made him special are the impossible things he has done. That's the whole meta-narrative of the Venom plot, anyone skilled can be Big Boss if they are given the mantle of the legend and continue writing the story.
did you even play the games user?
Its Venom in my Headcanon. The real Big Boss died and he took his place out of respect. His wounds and shrapnel healed by this time from Patriot technology
>His wounds and shrapnel healed by this time from Patriot technology
Why would Venom fix the horn, though?
Isn't the whole point that he's already a demon.
have you ever played the game?
its always Snake you control in 3 and Peace Walker
>3 and Peace Walker is Venom's simulation
This can't be true because the BB body from MG1 (MSX) was never recovered, unlike the Big Boss body from MG2 (MSX)
More or less like Batman.
BB in MG2 is canonically a Cyborg that survived the first game. I'm not going to have Kojima make this giant grand twist and pretend like MG2 didn't clearly state that BB survived the first game and get experimented on.
Why would Venom NOT want the horn removed? His "I'm already a demon" shit is clearly him just thinking about the Boss and indoctrination. It literally didn't even make sense in the context of the game, that scene happens after the first fucking mission. Venom is the goodest boy in the series, he is literally not a demon even remotely
But I wasn't born until 1993
Time is convoluted.
>BB in MG2 is canonically a Cyborg that survived the first game. I'm not going to have Kojima make this giant grand twist and pretend like MG2 didn't clearly state that BB survived the first game and get experimented on.
It was never stated how he survived MG1 until MGSV explained that the BB in MG1 was a fake Big Boss acted as a decoy for the real Big Boss.
Big Boss lied and betrayed his soldiers to save his own life, that's why Kaz hated Big Boss.
>it was never stated how he survived MG1
Sure it was, its called MG2
