>Here's the sequel to your critically acclaimed game bro
Here's the sequel to your critically acclaimed game bro
at least they made a good system shock sequel
The only time I have never been immediately offput by a female pro/duotag is probably with NieR:A
Not beyond good and evil?
Not perfect dark?
Not classic tomb raider?
>Dishonored 1
>Subtle hints dropped throughout the game about your relationship with the empress and the possibility of Emily being your daughter
>Outsider is a figure shrouded in mystery, with reports of him being a leviathan who takes a form the human eye can witness without going insane
>Heart is voiced by Jessamine which you may not pick up given her limited dialogue
>Dishonored 2
>Emily refers to Corvo as father 17 times in the opening sequence
>Outsider is just a peasant lmao, here's a random cult never referenced who will never be referenced again after this asspull
>Here's a hologram of Jessamine from within your heart lmao
HOLY SHIT all this spoonfeeding may as well be a movie
only good part of that game was the time swapping mansion level
>Ywn get a dishonored game about an overseer who gets the outsider's mark to survive an expedition to Pandyssia gone wrong
>Ywn get a dishonored game about a whaler trying to find his fortune following the death of Daud
>Ywn get a dishonored game about some lowly thug blessed/cursed with dark magic powers
I'm paraphrasing that one user's copypasta but he was spot on
JUST
>Dishonored 2 could have starred a new MC in a totally new land
>With maybe only the outsider returning
>Nah let's rehash the DLC plot from the first game again and ruin any mystery the first game had
Shut up and clap for the strong womyn
Hey it was fun.
Story was pretty wank but the expanded powers, gameplay options and gadgets were really neat. Plus they made non-lethal runs more interesting since you could do more cool shit without needing to kill anyone.
AYO DAUD
agreed
In the first game I basically killed everyone and got the "bad" end which felt pretty shitty considering the non-lethal kills for most of the targets were really dull.
The second game, at least with Emily's powers, gives you a lot more freedom to do whatever you want, whether you want to kill them or not.
Jindosh's non lethal was worse than his lethal
Yeah that's fair.
The first game basically only 90% lethal skills to learn.
To be fair, a lot of the non-lethals are designed to be brutal in a more figurative sense. Y'know, what with you opting to ruin a target's life rather than outright killing them.
Poetically for sure.
Making Jindosh a retard compared to selling Lady Boyle to her rapist was a bit harsh even for me
>no sequel wherw you play as my nigga Daud
>only dlc for the sequel is about a literal who trying to kill The outsider for no reason said before
>Daud DLC is about how choices have consequences
>DotO: Its the outsiders fault I killed all those people because he gave me powers
Bravo Anita
the first game had daud dlc
>you play as my nigga Daud
>what is the Knife of Dunwall DLC
I think he said sequel as he wanted Daud to be the protag of Dishonored 2, which would have been better than Emily/Corvo.
I sill think it would have benefited from having a completely new cast with perhaps cameos from the first game, except for the outsider still pulling some strings.
Honestly what the fuck were they thinking bringing Delilah back
>I am scared of women when they're not fuckdoll looking anime caricatures
I don't know.
The Brigmore Witches were goat villains in spite of having so little time for development, but Delilah had such a satisfying btfo at the end of the DLC.
I think the guys in charge (not the same as D1 and DLC) were simply out of ideas.
Unironically yes. I'm uncomfortable with girls ranging anywhere between 4 and 8/10. Ugly and beautiful girls are fine though.
>completely new cast
This. Would've been neat to play as some lowly gang member turned supernatural hitman or something, they could've done a lot more AND not end up botching the story entirely
Great levels but shitty story
Delilahs low chaos disposal method is the same in the DLC as it was in 2. Whats to stop her breaking out of the painting again ffs
There was a lot of potential for a sequel about Daud and the assassins in some new zones instead nope lmao here's Corvo, Emily and Dunwall once again
Delilah never should've been the antagonist again, the Abbey of the Everyman should've been the focus instead of more Outsider/witches.
>worse soundtrack
>worse artsyle
>worse sound design
>worse story
>worse environments
>worse characters
>worse pacing
>worse attention to detail
>controls about the same quality
>replayability about the same quality
>better level design
I know level design is a cornerstone of immersive sims, but did they really had to entirely fuck up everything else?
