My problem with the GITGUD attitude is that, a player might want a mild challenge with fun gameplay and not because it's more challenging it's going to be more fun, this hugely depends on the person and the game tho, I beat DS3 with a slvl 20 +2 weapon while having fun, however, I CANT STAND playing XCOM2 becasue of the constant turn limits.

I never had the turn limit screw me over too badly, and I have to admit it probably has forced me to engage with the game more where previously I would overwatch creep all over the place very slowly. I can understand not wanting it on, though, I don't like it when games keep pushing me to go too fast
