Sega has no chance with a standalone console or portable.
Their games are trash, if it isn't called Yakuza or Sonic it ain't getting no budget. All their old IPs are worthless today and no kid knows about them.
If they do go through with this folly, it's honestly them just foolishly burning their own money and digging themselves into a late '90s money hole again. The stupidity would be palpable.
