Yes, unironically.

besides its gameplay, it nailed everything. the classes were cool, the new weapon mechanics and combat arts were more SRPG-like than any other entry in the franchise. the music was top 3 behind fates and radiant dawn. the presentation and SOUL in the game is better than any other fire emblem from the character art to the interactions to the grief lines. dungeon crawling was super based and was a good way to add mini games to fire emblem. theres an actually sensible story in the game unlike half of FE. its def top 5 fe games

I really liked it. But the reason it doesn't get talked about often is because the characters are kinda boring. Gray is cool but hardly anyone else is memorable

I feel like Celica's problem is that they didn't spend enough time justifying her beliefs to make them feel more valid. One cool thing I liked, but was a bit subtle is at the end, Jedah didn't lie to Celica, if she was sacrificed, Duma would last longer. They've been doing shit like that and it worked, as a temporary measure.

Definitely not on release. The step down in terms of plot and supports really bummed people out back then. And then there was the press complaining that the game didn't use the Wiimote.
