Guilty Gear Strive's dead Jim

>"A central idea behind this title is that you can deal big damage without memorizing long combos as was required in previous games." - so, it's casualised and they don't plan on doing anything about it.
>The rest of the complaints got more or less the same response - "This is our dumb reason for breaking the UI/combo paths/online lobbies. We're considering the feedback, so please be excited."
This is the results when retards bought Goku FUNCTIONS and Baby Tag. Congrats Capkucks you killed Guilty Gear for everyone cause of your fucking fetish for X-WAHMEN.

Post the last of your hopes and more fears to see what will come next for Guilty Gear Strive.

>most likely will still be "the highest-selling GG to date"

>The worst part
>It's gonna make their games go much worse cause graphicfags are the biggest ass kissers of Arc

If this is the direction Arc games are going moving forward, then I hope mainline BB stays dead.

So now ArcSys literally replaced CyberConnect2 in the braindead 2D-emulating fightan department, then?

we are all pogchamp man now

Combos are cringe and I don't care if they are gone

Man, I feel already like jewtecks after two break-ups with Mike and like 12 pints of eggnog.

Combos are fine, but anime fighter combos are way too long. I'm okay with loops, but these gazillion different moves combos are stupid.

here are the mouth breathers for whom this game is being made, enjoy your shallow, boring gameplay

It’s like I’m little looking at Scrubquotes’ timeline.

Combos should be like this
youtube.com/watch?v=KuN9UGSUGko&t=8m45s

>nooooooo arcsys why aren't you pandering to us, the 30 devoted guilty gear fans instead
Yeah I really wonder why they decided to make a game for somebody that's not (you) instead

>overly long combos add depth
Haha you're fucking stupid. Whether a combo is 20 moves long or 3 moves long, they both start with just a single hit confirm. The length of the combo doesn't depth.

>Complain about combos in GG

It's because of you fools that strive exists.

>entire q&a is just "we hear you but trust us on this"

Based developers acknowledging their previous fanbase was too autistic and unprofitable.

Seethe and cope. Strive will be the biggest and most successful GG yet. The series was long overdue for a trimming of all the bloat. Now I can actually play GG without my buds getting lost.

Fuck off you don't even play fighting much less anime.

I've been playing GG since X.

Something tells me it still won't sell any better, or at least, not any better to have been worth the downgrade. Still remains to be seen.

Explain in as few words as you're capable of why having 20 hit combos is interesting to spectators and players alike.

One Piece fighter when?

GG ones aren't even long

Even pros don't do it

people fuck up, hence suspense

if granblue is struggling even with all the cygames money and brand recognition with gacha paypigs behind it, whay hope does gg have?

One arena fighter comin' right up, senpai

and there you have it. Dropping stupid long combos is the height of complexity and entertainment. The suspense is in wondering if your opponent fell asleep during your combo and have realized that you dropped it

>brand recognition
It isn't even that popular in the west to begin with and it still died despite all the money towards visuals and accessibility.
Time will tell if something as obscure as GG with its new simplification along with better netplay will make the difference or not.
But I wouldn't bet on it

Dragon Ball at an all time profitability. Toei in recent years have opened an entire Dragon Ball department because it's doing so well. Expect DBFZ 2 to align with the sequel series to Super.

No!

Boo-hoo faggot Guilty Gear sucks dick anyway. Be a man and play Tekken
