Luck of at least7 makes winning at Casinos much easier.
Charisma is useless.
Strength is needed for weapon requirements
Perception is useless until you go for a sniper build

Play the DLCs in release order. It's much more enjoyable.

The credit check that lets you on the strip doesn't actually take your caps, it just checks to see if have them. Don't waste money on a pass or a favor from The King.

Probably put 2k hours into it on my og 360 but can't escape crashing problems on PC. So sad I would love play it modded and could drop another 500 hours on it easy. Tried NVAC and a bunch of stuff, most I can get out of it is an hour or 2 before crash.

There is probably a mod that removes the casino limits. Or you could go to a real casino and lose all of your money like a gambling degenerate.

accuracy is good to have regardless of whether you're sniping or not. perception is not as useless as charisma and it is required for the critical damage buff perk.

But it's all the rush of a real gambling addiction with none of the consequences.

perception 6 gives you sniper and light touch traits which are both very good

What they should've done was made it so Daniel wanted to kill the White Legs while Joshua wanted to flee Zion. It would've presented an actual dilemma for the player because they have reasons to want the White Legs dead, but they also have reasons to love Joshua Graham. It also makes sense since Graham is older and can realize from his time as Caesar's legate that more death wouldn't fix anything, whereas Daniel is younger and inexperienced, so killing the White Legs makes more sense to him. There, I just fixed one of the worst parts of Honest Hearts.

this, any time I play new vegas I have no issue with doing the intended lap around the mojave before going to vegas, I don't get why that was so offensive to some people. only annoying part is the ghoul quest in novac, but if you skip that it only takes like 4 hours to get to vegas even with doing sidequests along the way

Sometimes I experiment by going op to rob the great Khans to get some of the best guns in the game before heading back south. That's a fun thing to do, but it feels cheap like in a role playing game your character has no reason why they would do that

i get the idea but it's too tedious to organize your deck in a way that lets you win faster than the pro-tier NPCs. every time i randomize i get such horrible hands to work with. usually a bunch of low numbers and jokers.

blackjack is my poison, it was my grandfather's too which creeps me out because I didn't know till my mom told me. I refuse to go to a casino because addiction in so many forms runs through both sides of my family

just git good and don't assume once you do hit a lucky streak that it'll last forever. it's not hard to have fun gambling without going full retard and blowing all your money at once. you just need self-control
