Larger map, so you can have multiple cities on a map.
I just want Simcity 2013 with big maps and editable maps. It was so perfect.

Preferably every feature from Cities 1 right from the jump. They made Cities so big and expansive via DLC that it would be a waste to just brush all that under the rug if they were to make a sequel.

more difficulty to make an actual city instead of just plopping shit anywhere and having wall to wall skyscrapers in 10 minutes

Historical setting
Meaningful gameplay. It's basically just a creative-mode builder as-is.
Instantly bulldozing everything and replacing it with new layouts on a whim, more money than you can hope to spend coming in removing any hard decision making (just wait), whole features such as public transport essentially "optional".
Nice effort, but could be much better.
Maybe an actual game next time.

Moving the buildings away from being grids, to being more freeform.
It feels kinda weird to have nice organic road building, but the actual buildings themselves only appearing as blocks.

More features and changes to some current ones, like why do landmarks do almost nothing? Tourism is pretty nonexistent in the game.
More of a late-game with more unlockables. It really only takes a few hours to get to the 30k size. It'd be nice if there were more things to work for beyond that level.
I'd also love the ability to drive vehicles and do missions like in SimCity4
Reflections of racial demographics, especially with regards to labor. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT AND NON-IGNORABLE PART OF ACTUAL CITIES.
