Woah, I found a piano in the game! Gonna see if I can play it.

yes

no but the one in the yoshi game did

Yes. I had to have my dad beat those stages for me when I was 6.

>the shark in banjo-kazooie

what a pussy

I can't tell if he's wearing shades or his eyes are outright missing, but it was unsettling as fuck to see his ass.

This.

Yes

No but for some reason being pursued in water by an insta-kill enemy creates a surprising amount of tension

I'll admit yes because it's a anonymous message board

Any enemies that ate you for a insta kill gave me nightmares and I'd close my eyes and rush past where they were hoping to make it. That or I'd get my family to get past it for me.

>Tiny Huge Island
>Fighting the giant plants
>Fall off the hill somehow
>I'll just swim back
>Fish'd

Now that I'm older I have no idea how I fell off in the first place but that stage freaked me the fuck out and I never wanted to be small.

>tfw that shark traumatised you into entering any water
> Seeing Clanker in the following stage for the first time

I still have nightmares about my character being devoured in 8 bit Pokémon games.
Animal Crossing must be scaring the shit out of young children right now. Imagine looking for a sea bass and finding THIS in the water.

FUCK whoever designed that narrow pipeline leading right into Clanker, fuck you Rare I’m glad you don’t make games anymore

>that cloudy stage with these eels

Yes, way more than the piano, because you swim way slower and he one shots you.

>N64
>when you were a kid

fucking zoomers.

>Update
24 years ago user

>tfw you realize Clanker is the victim

yeah fuck those 30 years old zoomers

30 years old are indeed pretty much zoomer as they were nowhere close to 18 in 2000.

Last relevant Nintendo console was SNES and PS1 was the last relevant console at all.

This and the Lurker Shark in Jak and Daxter kept me from going in the water in video games for years.

I mocked him by riding the beach koopa's shell over the water around him, jumping over him and dodging his snapping jaws like a bullfighter

We're in 2020 wake up retard. How fucking old are you ? 50 ?

imagine being 40 and still being here

No, not even del Lago is scary enough.

I'm still a kid and I played that game on my dads console recently and it didn't scare me im not a pussy.

>these and the eel in Jolly Roger Bay had me scared to go in the water when I was younger
>older I got the more I ended up loving the ocean and deep sea
The one thing I still haven't gotten over is endless voids. It's why I never bother glitching out of bounds in games, just seeing the endless skybox or bitch black nothingness unnerves me to no end. The ones in Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 still get to me.

That's not what a Zoomer is, retard

All instant kills scare kids, also anything that can attack you underwater while you flounder like a retard
Banjo Kazooie actually had 2 of these in one level, Treasure Trove Cove
>Snacker will eat you alive
>those sea mines fuck you up

This fish contributed to the development of a vore fetish for some of you, didn't it?

ive seen my gf play this game and how could you be scared by that. Can you even go in the water?

kys

No. The only game that i recall to get scared were things in the original Tomb Raider, because they would appear behind Lara's back and others would make weird noises at distance and then strike from any side like raptors.

>Get N64 when I was a kid
>Never got around to buyng Mario 64
>Still haven't played it to this day
>Cool Mario 64 threads daily that I can't take part in

My son was scared of the MM2 Rotten Mushroom, so I made a level full of them and forced him to play it.

>posting this instead of just playing it

28 years old here, born in '91. I grew up on my dad's NES and played plenty of SNES before my brother and I got an N64.
Shut your fucking mouth with your -oomer bullshit.

Playing it on what? I don't even know where my N64 is and I don't have the game.
I notice you don't invite me around your place to play it.

The song that plays when you try to run up the stairs to the final Bowser level before you have enough stars scared me more than the fish or the piano.

I was fine with anything in Mario 64
This though, scared me for a while.

You're trying too hard, pretender.

Emulate it, there's also the PC port. Or stop on by, friend

Is it just the void?
