Yet the soundtrack was made by Spiralmouth, and the writing was made by an Invader Zim writer. The actual game made by Traveller's Tales Oxford is really sloppy
This would have been the greatest Crash game if it had been completed.
The dev team that worked on it was massively incompetent. This probably could've been the last great Crash platformer if handled by a team who wasn't composed of amateurs.

The game is filled with shit game design : unskipable cutscenes even after you die, event flags can be resetted by backtracking, which can also lead to erasing progress, gameplay changes without any warning, save system is awful for a 2004 game, etc. N Tropy also does a t pose during his boss fight

it definitely felt like it was written by an Invader Zim writer but i think it was actually a storyboard artist for Ren & Stimpy that was the writer for the game

We all know the tale of twinsanitys long yet rushed development. Gameplay wise it was the right step minus the box losing its value and the variety was great.
Hoping ideas from this get used in a sucessfil way
Sorry for asking to be spoonfeed but is there a video about the development? I remember the game having tons of concept art of areas we never go and that even as a kid I managed to completely glitch into areas I clearly wasn't supposed to, or do things like backtrack with characters I wasn't supposed to. Even back then I noticed the game wasn't polished.

Same here.
I got it around the same time as I got LEGO Star Wars on the DS and, through these two, discovered that games could be fun but really shitty.

It's pretty fun, especially for a Crash game not developed by Naughty Dog. That being said, some content of the game was scrapped out because they ran out of time. The characters even made jokes about how short and rushed the game was.
