Dragon Ball is better than most of JoJo. Yeah, Dragon Ball Super is shot and whatnot but around half of the JoJo franchise is complete ass that tries to make up for it by being stylish. It still doesn't change the fact that JoJo on the whole is overrated shit.

I have. The truth is the normalfags are blinded. I don't even think the entirety of Dragon Ball is that good, but it sure as hell is better than JoJo. JoJo has nice art and some cool powers, but that's where its strengths mostly end. A lot of JoJo is just a complete drag with mostly not very good characters.

You're almost at the best part of the whole series. The last 20-30 chapters of Stone Ocean are absolutely fucking phenomenal. Get out of the thread before you get spoiled.
I really, really like SBR, but only when it got going. The first 20 or so chapters are a fucking slog to get through and incredibly boring, with a few exceptions like Gyro's backstory. And considering how long they are compared to other parts, it's way too much. There are some other things I don't like as well, but those are a bunch of smaller things that add up.

Most JoJo fans I've met browse r/shitpostcrusaders and I've heard people say that the series is good simply based on the fact that it has memes. Some of JoJo is ok, but a lot of it is fairly unoriginal villain of the week nonsense. Yeah, the powers can be cool sometimes, but the fight scenes themselves are not very good for the most part and rarely hold narrative weight.
