There isn't much that can be said that hasn't been said until we get new info.

Bottom Line: The upgrade to Color Splash's high points and improvements is going to make this game land a spot in the higher tiers, but it entirely depends on how the gameplay is executed.

The optimism in me is holding on the fact that we have

>Items
>Gear
as well as the fact that Color Splash had an exp system but was negated by the game throwing an endless supply of colors at you.

The tools are there, this could be either one hell of an amazing stand alone experience or a giant missed opportunity.

OP here, I will skip this game if the gameplay ends up like Color Splash and Sticker Star, just like I did with CS.But honestly it looks great right now. I just want an objectively good Paper Mario game.

This mother fucker in the Paper Mario series has been Bowser's "Fuck shit up" guy since Sticker Star.
Shows up all the time in SS to ruin your day, is the reason the Forest is fucked in CS, he was the manipulator(telling paper bowser to betray bowser) and ideas guy in Paper Jam.

But now? He's forced to be your partner with Bowser Jr, im really curious how they plan to writing this with him.
Personally i like the Mario&Luigi approach they are having with the cast.

Kamek is only with you during the jungle segment and you can bet he will be gone forever past that.
