What’re the best games on this bad boy? Any genre

Mega Man Powered Up is underrated. If you don't already enjoy classic Mega Man games, probably not worth playing, but if you like Mega Man and haven't played it, do so. Tons of playable characters, grindy as fuck 100% conditions to keep you pointlessly playing for a long time (I consider this a positive), good music, level editor, and just generally an all around good time. I'm not sure if you can still get all the free DLC and stuff nowadays but worst case scenario hacking a PSP is easy as hell and you can get that stuff that way. PLUS you can play as Roll specifically in her Mega Man 8 costume.

Half Minute Hero is one of the best games on the platform and is super overlooked

SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 and 2007 have pretty solid ports to the PSP and those are two of the best wrestling games of all time. As such, these are, believe it or not, the best portable wrestling games to this very day. Vita never had shit, 3DS had one wrestling game total, and they had a trash port of a trash game to Switch and then gave up entirely.
Only problem is both (especially 2006) have bad load times so I'd say to just install them on the console (by hacking it), then the load times will be smooth as butter. I've clocked probably a hundred hours in General Manager mode on the PSP version of 2007

I love this game. I have it on both the PSP and PS3. Project Diva is also a must if you like rhythm games. I wish there was a Love Live game on some modern system. Never played that one for Vita though.

I just found my PSP and turned it on for the first time in 10 years. I have Christina Aguilera as my wallpaper.

I mainly just used it to set girls as my wallpaper and watch the same 3 Family Guy episodes over and over. I think the only games I ever had on it were Metal Slug, Mega Man, and Prinny, and I’m pretty sure I sold all of those because I can’t find them anywhere.

I second that. It's one of my favorites on the system and a great Ace Combat game in itself.

Yeah, I also recommend watching Erick. He's really passionate about RPGs and shows even the most obscure ones on his channel. The PSP has a great library and I wish some of those games weren't so fucking expensive.

OP, you should check out Gladiator Begins. It's a pretty unique game, that combines action and fighting together with a deep loot progression system and light rpg tones. I played it literally a dozen years or so ago but it's still in my memory somehow. Good, little gem of a unique game
