uh oh segabros looks like nintendo, sony, and xbox are up to their old tricks
*picks up 50 rings*
You were saying?
*goes super-user*
Adventure 2 fucking sucks ass compared to 1. Chao garden is the only redeeming factor
Sonic should be the mascot of BLM
The chao garden was literally the only reason I bought SA2.
And it's actually kinda boring now that I'm replaying it. It's just an endless cycle of farming chaos drives and shitting them out for your chao to eat, repeat until the number is big and send em to the races.
if you want to speed it up there is a mod that drastically increases the speed at which stats increase
Adventure 2 is garbage and its time to stop pretending the only reason people criticize it is ecelebs
The actual grind is boring and repetitive, yes. The fun comes in making different kinds of Chao, crossbreeding, introducing two-tones, etc. and forming a collection of adorable abominations that you spent enough time to obtain that it feels satisfying to see your plans all come together.
Also for grinding stats what you should be doing is finding the fastest way to get a specific animal, then restarting and getting it again. You can get 10 of an animal in like a minute total this way and then you give them to your Chao, rinse and repeat.
Absolutely hilarious to me that in the year of 2020 there are still sonic fans
Sonic CD is the best sonic game to ever exist
the mecha stages sucked and the radar didn't need to be nerfed like that
can't say i hate the game as a whole, though
Sonic CD isn't even a good game, the level design is garbage and its gimmicks are annoying more than fun. Sonic CD sounds like the best Sonic game ever on paper but in practice it isn't well designed.
The best Sonic game? That's Adventure 1, my friend.
BASED
3&K>Mania+>CD>2>1
>CD above 2
Wow, truly ahead of its time.
Fucking based.
Yeah, I'm thinking this is based.
I hate giving animals to my chao because
1 they will look like retarded amalgamations and
2 they won't get an increase in their luck stat
I only ever occasionally give them skeleton horses and those green fish
Just give them animals and then when you're done grinding give them some skeleton dogs to remove the parts
>there are people itt who didn't exploit the infinite animal/drive bug
That just sounds oainful
I could never do it consistently and it seemed like a finicky pain in the ass
I want to work on a very simple standalone chao garden type of game for the sake of learning unity. What kind of features would you guys like in a game like that?
the fun comes in hanging out with the precious lil babbus
More ways to mix them to make new colors (aka make more colors and then allow you to mix them). At least one additional stat that comes with its own evolution branches would be good but I'm not sure what it could be. Character-based special Chao could be a reward for making progress. Might be worth including some kind of achievement system to keep the player going. Reward players with rings for doing achievements or possibly you get some just for feeding or otherwise interacting with your Chao, then have lots of hats available in the Black Market. Lots of different gardens would be good. You could have gardens based on levels and import textures or objects from those levels. Definitely need to have infinite space for Chao and an easy way to infinitely spawn regular ones. You need to include trading somehow.
What are the opinions on Ruby of Blue's videos on SA2's story?
Do you think I've seen every literally who eceleb's opinion on the game?
I really love this game, and I don't know what else to contribute to this thread, so here's a gallery of all the chaos to look at:

ProJared may be a cuck, but he had a decent point in his video. The game as a whole might not be great, but considering how likely you are to replay the levels you liked to get stuff for your Chao (which is by the way deeper than anything in the 'main game') it'll make the overall game seem better to you as you play the good stuff repeatedly and ignore the bad stuff beyond your first playthrough.
Personally my advice is to never go for 180 Emblems. I did it on PS3 and it was not worth it at all. If you really want to not like the game anymore, go for that 180 Emblems, there's so many frustrating ones and doing it will make all of the game's little flaws seem so much larger. When you have barely enough time to get to the goal to get an A rank and you keep fucking repeatedly failing at the last second because Sonic Team can't program good rail physics, you start thinking maybe the game is secretly trash.
I still can't believe they actually made a movie out of 'gamers rise up' meme.
Having collected all emblems in SA1 and SA2, 2 is the better experience once you've learned the stage layouts and tricks but SA1 is more fun on the first playthrough and has less shitty gimmick levels. Also chao garden is only bearable with the infinite animal glitch
He unironically says "we live in a society" in the movie
>jagoff uses normalfag capeshit meme movie to convey his point
