It's the worst part of the Nasuverse, giving just a taste of all the more interesting things going on in the world while focusing on the pretty boring Holy Grail Wars. I'll always like Tsukihime more because it goes way deeper into the Nasuverse lore. Hell, Kara no Kyoukai does too.
