And in multiplayer it gets worse as someone else will have to carry your trash dps on bosses.

Does defense matter in Master Mode as time goes on? I'm probably going to cheese all 3 Mech bosses by kiting them with the pirate mount (beat Destroyer this way) but I would like to know if I should invest in Hallowed armor. So far it seems like everything 2 shots me regardless so my armor is

Defense starts to become nigh worthless with any class in Master. Even a bulky Melee user can only take about 4 good hits before biting the dust. Your only real option is to have Menacing on everything, long-distance attacks, build a wide-ass arena, and then kite, hoping the bosses die before you do. For events just build a room with a wide lava pool next to it with traps and watch as everything dies.
Doesn't work for Martian Madness anymore. Saucer laser goes through blocks.
upon killing WoF I think defense matters. I always have a warding ankh, warding frozen shield and wings with defense on regardless. I think 4 DPS accessories are enough desu
Is it cheating to use TEdit give yourself a large mass of crimson and Hallow on either sides of the map?
I just got to hardmode and the V raped my jungle (village and all) with crimson and my crimson I was trying to contain in turn got fucked by Hallow

No, not really. Adding as much or as little of any world evil as you want is pretty much the only way to play the game without going in and clentaminating it all yourself.

All my accessories are menacing except one. Really not sure if defense eve worth it. It's 100% flat after all.
Mobility and speed are your best line of defense as a summoner. There's a blip in your sirvivability once you acquire hallowed armor variant for summoners, but you can't cling to it forever either.
There is no filter and master is a joke of a difficulty for just inflating numbers.
The hardest part of Terraria is not knowing stuff. The moment you have the wiki on the side everything is trivial.

also i want to add this is really good because otherwise the tiger is dogshit against flying enemies since it tends to dick around on the ground in circles if you leave it alone.
when it pounces it goes all over the fucking place and homes in on the enemy for each contact on the pounce.

They were probably thinking that Summoner is the least risky playstyle because the summons attack for you. They are, of course, wrong, because summons have GARBAGE FUCKING AI AND DON'T FUCKING ATTACK ENEMIES
There are like two summons pre-pillars that are actually capable of damaging enemies more than ~half a screen away from you, it's a mess.

I think endgame post plantera balance for gear is pure mess. You just rash to pillars. Everything from events is irrelevant. It's more easy and faster to kill pillars than clearing events and empress

All of HM is a pure mess. There's no real exploration any more, you just fight bosses over and over.
I wouldn't exactly call pillars themselves being easy on master. It's a huge shitshow due to how unpredictably all the mobs from them behave

I like HM because of variety of weapons tho. Pre hm gear/weapons are awful
