neat
EGS needs to step it up just for Valve to not get lazy.
>egs mentioned unprovoked as if it was relevant
Thread's true colors revealed. Sage.
what advertisements? the store? click view/small mode if you don't want to accidentally click store button
Under interface settings: "notfiy ame about additions or changes to my games, new releases..." became checked again. makes it so you see an ad everytime you close a game.
>showing advertisements again
Where? And what does "again" mean? It actually used to advertise shit?
oh that dunno didn't even remember it. disabled it years ago. don't remember it coming back unless i formatted computer or something and had to fresh install steam
Steam resetting settings to default after some updates has happened for like a decade. Good job outing yourself as underaged, retard.
Isn't a the point of a store front to advertise new releases?
>steam
>a store front
Steam's primary purpose is being a DRM program keeping track of what games you play.
Don't let Fortnite live in your head rent free, user. The point is that Steam needs to be less shit with certain shit like OP.
>makes it so you see an ad everytime you close a game.
I've had that box ticked forever and this literally has never happened. I just get a popup once a day when i launch steam that lists new games and sales
>using steam with its browser enabled
LMAO
probably using the new chinese version
Faggot that shit only happens when you launch steam and that is not even every single time, I see that shit like once every 3 months or something.
at least you dont get borderlands 3 ads while playing borderlands 3
what
I also become enraged and think about suing companies because they try and show me video games I might want to buy. I fucking hate video games.
>Steam's primary purpose is being a DRM program
FYI, it's the devs choice weather to make Steam mandatory or not.
All of Valves games are DRM free. You can copy paste the files into a different PC w/o Steam and they will run just fine.
>how is this shit legal?
could you possibly overreact more
Every store but GoG is shit. I just buy on GoG or pirate these days.
>using shovelware
user, egs is a thing now
>Updating Steam
I'm still using the version before the shitty library UI update, why is anyone updating Steam after that? It still works fine if you disable updates.
>egs is a thing
>you use to be able to disable game and workshop updates
>no you can only set different time to update
Fuck these kikes.
>using a store without reviews, shopcart...
I'd rather know what the fuck I am about to buy
>A store that even a simple search function does not work
No.
isn't tim giving shit away for free anyway?
or am i understanding this wrong?
>2020
>using steam
