I have already done most of the things I described and gotten away with it, and I would do it again.
There is nothign better in this earthly existence than waking up to two adorable little girls snuggling next to you on your bed, and resting their heads against your shoulders. It is a shame that they eventually grow up into bratty teenagers. Girls are at their prime around the ages of 8-12, as they are maximum cute around that age. The only reason I want daughters of my own is so I can re-experience those moments of bliss again. I want to dote and cuddle with adorable little girls. Once you experience it, nothing will feel the same anymore.

From what? Splat2 is already near perfect. Even the top competitive players who usually bitch about everything are saying they only have very minor nitpicks at this point.
The only real thing they could do is higher tickrate and reducing the input lag (which is overblown by the community anyway). If you really want to fantasize, implement private server functionality so people on emulators can still play online with each other 20 years from now.
