what is this, toothpaste?

Are there any decent browsers that don't eat up ram?

Once again Microsoft takes someones product and makes it better.

Not anymore.

Just downloaded it today, for some bizarre reason my chrome is being suuuuper slow on youtube, anywhere else is fine.

Not really. Palemoon, maybe? Or surf, if you're autistic. Honestly, the only halfway decent browser is ungoogled Chromium.

its kind of baffling, it feels like browser technology has gone down the shitter over the past 10 years or so. I used to be able to have a billion tabs open and it wouldn't even affect my game performance even on a toaster. These days even leaving a single tab browser open is guaranteed to drop performance a significant amount.

You know, I actually like this. It means I can use things that require Chrome extensions without having to install Google Chrome.

Not really. Browsers seem crazy expensive. Maybe Mozilla? That’s the one I use. Chrome horrible. Opera horrible (last time I checked). Who would even think about using an MS browser.

I don't know. Current browser I use is Firefox. seems to work alright

Chrome is the best browser

>history doesn't have a search bar
Other than that, good so far

Decent browser, the only weird shit was all of my extensions crashing all of sudden and making it unusable without restarting the PC but that only happened once a long time ago. So it's okey, 7.5/10.

Not anymore because the internet is bloated as fuck. The only way you can free some RAM is if you stop browsing social networks on your desktop and stop using the official YouTube website to watch videos. Also, don't link any account to your browser, unless those seconds you save by doing that are actually valuable for some reason, don't do it

I use Brave and it's pretty okay

duckduckgo

What browser is this?

boku no chrome

The new Microsoft Edge, it’s literally Chrome 2.0
I’ve been using it for a while, it runs a bit better than Chrome on my machine

Edgium

this fucking browser has a dark mode but the scroll bar is still white

why is it that Microsoft can never get their UIs right?

old Edge's toolbar occupied 1/3 of the screen

Why does Microsoft even bother making their own browser, nobody ever uses it.

ive only used chrome because of it has all my autofill data. i dont think ill ever change

Boomers maybe

microsoft has been one bad decision after another since fucking 2012. If you are asking why they bother, it is because some dumbass high up in the chain of command ordered the coders to do it.

they can't just tell their boomer clients to get rid of IE, so they force them to upgrade to Edge 2 which a is a Chromium browser and thus saves web developers the headache of having to support IE

There's no toolbar tho

I've switched to it recently, been a pretty great experience. It uses less RAM than Chrome and Firefox, supports everything Chrome does and on mobile it has a built in adblocker on both Android and iOS.

I use Waterfox.

>trusting a browser's built-in protection
Nigger use umatrix

I use ublock origins on desktop, but on my phone I use the built in one which is the normal adblock plus, works great

It's not the browser, it's that webdevs can't display a jpeg without including a million lines of javascript these days.

Chrome with a Microsoft skin.

Webdevs only follows what the designer sold to the client anyway. Then you have to deal with the garbage deadlines so eventually you gotta cut corners.

I'm so glad I stopped working in that industry and switched to doing more backend stuff on less retarded languages like Rust.

Good, now I can ditch Chrome since it stopped working with my virtual webcam software on Omegle and get back to playing porn for horny bi guys with fat cocks who want to mutually masturbate
