I would legitimately enjoy the game if like 90% of the item pool wasn't complete shit

lost (with holy mantle) is the most fun character

Triple shot has strong synergies and you can get tears up from everywhere. Leaving coins all over the map to replenish your Heath makes you unkillable, you can get every shop item and it's easy to get swallowed penny by bombing pots.

Oof, not particularly strong arguments when you seem to be focused on how exploitable his health system is. Triple shot has as many good synergies as fucking terrible ones. Overall you haven't convinced me at all.

Keeper is literally worse than vanilla lost. Its dangerous to take devil deals so you’re forced into angel.

Being forced into angel is a blessing though. What do you need mediocre DD room items for, an easy floor 3-6? Nah dawg, you need angel room items for that brutal Hush fight

Lost is balanced with Holy Mantle, you can only take one point of damage per room but with the free devil deals you can compensate by shredding enemies as quickly as possible

Right, shredding ass is good for clearing floors but for actually beating bosses and earning marks he kind of sucks. Yeah, maybe I can beat Hush or Delerium without taking damage, but not at any regularity and that's after 700 hours of kicking the shit out of the game.

Get mods to also fix the balancing issues. Do not purchase it on console as the developers are lazy and take a year or more to port, some consoles never even get the updates at all like xbox despite being advetised as it coming soon
