REDDIT GOT THE FUCKING SIDESHOP REMOVED

I was thinking about this guy a few days ago. Looked him up, he's still kicking.

What's sideshop?

I don't know what that is.

RIP to my niggas Quirt and Sithil

The what now? What happen to the uber jew battlepass?

What the fuck does that mean stick to your general dotard

If everyone has a courier the sideshop is not needed.

Valve listening to reddit all these years has ran the game into the ground.
You can't even report a bug fix unless you make a reddit post and pray to god it gets enough upvotes. Because valve doesn't even check their own forums anymore.

Let's not pretend that 7.00, talents, shrines and shitload of other changes, were all reddit's ideas.

No but youre being intentionally obtuse if you think reddit aren't the ones who allow updates like that to stay around. Despite being the minority of players.
Something like cowboy ursa would never get removed today because reddit fucking loves those types of armor sets and valve only cares what they like.

should i shit this game up with my ineptitude and lack of team work?

99% of the people here have no idea what a sideshop is. You need to explain it.

Nah, I believe that Valve cut ties with Icefrog before 7.00, alienated players who loved dota for what it was, attracted too many new people and decided to make them their main playerbase.

Everyone having a courier is dumb as fuck and removes another level of complexity to the game
Lanes become piss easy if supports can easily get salves delivered to them

i still don't know where slacks got this picture

>free courier
>free wards
is this game worth playing anymore?

No moba is, unless you go play some classic w3.

>dude the Chinese got the Skeleton King removed
>no dude, it was Blizzard, they sued and forced Valve to remove it
Pcbros have been repeating this for years. Turns out Valve just removed it because they wanted to, but now you can buy it again (mind you, it used to be the free default) for $300~. And you better do, because it is a limited offer. You either take it or will never be able to get it again.
Thanks, Gayben.

I still like and slightly defend Smite.
>b-but Hi-rez
I would say at least give it a try if you are really wanting to give a new ASSFAGGOT a shot. Especially if top down isn't your thing and you've played WoW pvp before.

>chinese gets skeleton king removed
>everybody else wants him back
>chinese finally get their own standalone steam client
>SK comes back almost immediately

wow what a trainwreck thread, nobody knows about tbe change OP is talking about and it's just the standard doomposting from dotards who started playing in 2015

I tried smite and didn't care for it. I liked the perspective but they don't really do much with it. You can't really aim up or down so I don't see the point. Also the matchmaking is fucked.

The game is probably the most casual moba out there but because there are so many heroes it definitely takes a while to learn them all. I played 3 games and quit.

Dota 2 has had a standalone chinese client since launch where Skeleton King's model was a suit of armor instead of a skeleton, long before Wraith King

>chinese gets skeleton king removed
>but clinkz and skeletons from Mortal Strike are still in the game, not removed
Sure thing, buddy. The Chinese. Not Valve. Not for a price.

>You can't aim up or down
Turn off camera lock.
> Also the matchmaking is fucked.
That's fair, the game is dying pretty much.
>The game is probably the most casual moba out there
I'd say that's HotS (no itemization and personal skillupgrades).
>there are so many heroes it definitely takes a while to learn them all. I played 3 games and quit.
Yeah, you're not gonna learn a matchup in 3 games sadly. But surely that's applicable to any and every moba.

Because no one cares about your hats, retard.

>Turn off camera lock.
My bad, can you actually aim up and down?
>I'd say that's HotS
I never played that one, so fair enough.
>Yeah, you're not gonna learn a matchup in 3 games sadly. But surely that's applicable to any and every moba.
Most mobas have less than half the heroes this game has.

>chinese gets skeleton king removed
thats what happened for sure, it's not like clinkz is a hero

doesn't everyone get a free courier?
Does side shop even matter anymore?

Did they remove secret shops?

That'll be 150$ plus tip

>Most mobas have less than half the heroes this game has.
you've never played any other moba then.
>League: 148 Champions
>Dota: 115 Heroes
>Smite: 109 Gods
only one that is lower is HOTS with 88.

You can 'aim' your camera up and down, which is situational in the sense that you can see certain gods that have globals fly down on you. But also in the fact it's a 3rd person game and unlike mobas with fog of war mechanics you can see around corners and wall in smite when positioned correctly. And I've played every Moba (save origial dota/wc3), even korean f2p garbage. And given that I've played Dota 2, HoN, HotS, HyperSpace and sSmite I will say Smite did and probably does still add more heroes comparably, but the kits are way more straeamlined than say League. Passives are nothing too bloated, items are pretty easy to pick up depending on what god and role. But again this only applies if you want to try it out. As it stands mobas and team based games can be make or break on the community alone and I won't lie Smite is Huehue Portuguese central at times.
