Just started Bayo, everything was fine and dandy, I was getting plats until that boss in mission 2 where he sticks his head inside the building.
Fucker attacks with no telegraphs and the starting health bar means you die in 4-5 hits.

Played and 100%ed Okami for the first time recently. Great game. Only complaints would be combat doesn't evolve enough, Issun is super annoying when he basically just tells you the answer to a puzzle especially in the beginning, I wish some of the powers got more use. Other than that, really great game. I wouldn't mind Platinum trying for something more action adventure like it as opposed to straight character action

Is it really as long as people claim? I've heard its a full on 50 hour Zelda-esque RPG

If you 100% it and don't use a lot of guides sure. Otherwise no it's like 35ish hours

The hardest part of Okami was trying to find any semblance of challenge at all. I went to extreme lengths to avoid upgrades, etc.
the last boss is a fair challenge though. shame all the fights couldn't have been that amazing, because it's one of the best I've ever encountered in a game, period.

Nah, it's fine, I don't care that much I'll just take the stone trophy and come back later when I've learned more combos and how to offset properly.

MGR is the only good game they've made.

picked up w101 without knowing much about it
really surprised at how okami like it is superficially with all the bobblingheads and drawing, thought it was a viewtiful joe meets pikmin kind of game

nah he has telegraphs but they're so fucking long that you wouldn't think they are
also you know the whole environment shaking because it's all mid flight
all in all though, expect a shitload of continues and stones on your first playthrough. it's normal
