turning down requests and such is awkward af sometimes, fuck social situtations
Nobody wants to play anymore, even games the host owns and I haven't played, because I still beat them.
Ryuk... We’re going..
hate him but he's spitting straight facts
>Not even good at video games
>Still destroy my friends every time because I have a basic understanding of the game's mechanics
>no one wants to play with me because I always win
i know someone like this but they ruin the fun because they lose a lot and get overly frustrated and kill the mood
Same way myself. I just practice on my own and decline to play. If I lose to some stranger online it stings a bit less.
so youre a complete faggot that brings down the rest of the room because a. you act like you're better than them or b. you're a sore loser?
fyi for everyone in the thread, it's not your skills in a game that make people not want to play with you, it's your terrible personality
But I get along with them. I just suck at Smash. Why do i need to play if I know I am gonna lose? Id rather save face and practice on my own until my skills improve online then risk looking like a tard that can't play.
Stop washing yourself for a month and you'll fit right in.
You seems to forget another possibility. It's their personality that's terrible.
>go easy, practice doing hard shit, or meme around without them knowing
>still have blast while they have a chance
Picking Yoshimitsu in SC and going for flashyass setups or Jigglypuff in smash and going for rests is so fucking fun
I only tryhard when someone gets cocky
I played smash (switch) only once ; started winning even against veterans witch Richter Belmont. Try that. I think when it comes to fighting games most people suck with trap or long reaching characters. Also you re playing with friends who cares if you lose
they're not making threads using fucking sasuke from naruto as a way to describe their feelings
Yeah see thats what I dont want. I kinda wanna be on the skill level of my fellows when we play because tryharding is fun to them. They aint douchebags but at the same point its kinda...I dont even know the word. It makes me feel like they think im the young cousin who will cry if he loses and its demeaning on a personal level. We hang out outside of Vidya but it never really feels good to be the low man on the totem pole. I prefer turn based rpgs for this reason because of my slow reflexes.
Give this a shot. Thanks.
>i need to save face because I can't handle losing a couple of rounds of a children's party game with the boys
sounds like you are indeed a sore loser
At least they understand humor not like you.
>used to sit like sasuke in lecture halls
Felt cooler than I was 2bh
Normally Id agree with that user but Shitsuke is a bit suspicious yea.
This was me but only with the earlier smash games. Either I just got worse or the later ones were different somehow idk
you probably won't lose that badly though, if you're playing with a group of people and have matches with 4 or more in them, you can probably survive just by wildly mashing buttons
Think so?
I'm not even good, I'm absolutely atrocious at Smash when I'm against someone with similar game knowledge. Yet somehow I'm often in the position of being "that guy" who stomps everyone even when I'm playing against people who own the game. Holy fuck guys it's not that hard to get.
Your friends won't care if you lose; hell they won't even remember who won unless it was a sick tech. They will remember you being a spaz and not playing
yeah it's hard for even good players to play consistently in matches with 4 or more people in them (not to mention stage hazards and items if those are on)
>having friends over
>playing faggot ass smash over real fighters
lmfao, we'd be running tekkken
I had a friend who literally never played PvP games. The only multiplayer games he played co-op PvE games and it was honestly annoying as fuck. The few times he did play PvP games he would lose and get pissy about it.
>friends
Underage retard or a larper.
>thinking you're superior due to your choice software in which you make polygons fight each other
nice one dude it's rare to come across someone as cool as you on this shit website thanks for stopping by
>play smash with friend
>they lose
>GOD dude why the fuck can't i get my moves out? what the fuck man i did everything PERFECTLY and still fucked it up, god maybe i should switch mains this is getting frustrating
>hah idk man
>they win
>DAMN did you see that final kill dude? that sick ass combo i did? dude that took pinpoint split second button inputs that shit wasnt easy! holy fuck that was amazing of me
>hah idk man
I hope you arent this friend
I'm kinda like that but I prefer PvP games that let you back in the action immediately and let you shoot whoever. Used to play COD pretty much only in free for all. Some of the best MP experience I had was with the ME3 multiplayer though.
Keep coping.
Smash is a gay ass game for fags
I'm that guy inside but I try to at least not let it show and bring things down for other people.
I always had to hold back and give it 40% max so everyone could have fun. It was worth it.
>not playing meme/low tier characters against your friends
what are you, an asshole or something?
whoa how do I have this much fun at parties
>when you pulled Overrun card on your friends after filling up the field with 1/1 tokens
