For me, it's Beyerdynamic MMX300 with Dekoni Choice Leather pads.

You cannot name a better headphone relative to cost and convenience

The HD 558 are better than these, much better.

The HD 6XX

Unironically the HD600's (made in Ireland)

I heard headphones make you bald at the back

HD650 but thinking of upgrading to the HD800s

>get these
>pretty nice
>break due to accident
>get the white ones
>leather starts peeling off
Fugg

Enjoy your brain damage.

my disgusting grease pit of a head destroys these things at a rate of about one every 1.5 years so I cant afford to get something fancy

>leather

I'm 30 and bald despite all my siblings and father not being bald. The big difference? I play video games and wear headphones all the time but they don't play video games and do manual labour and played sports. Coincidence?

I use these fuckers

Whatever the covering for the headband and earmuffs are.

you could still get something fancy. The HD650 or 6XX can have nearly all parts replaced. I usually get a new set of pads for them every 1.5-2 years.

good choice

Sennheiser HD 598 Cs, 3 years and peeled everywhere but still works like a charm.

I was thinking about getting these. How comfy are they?

you can replace most of the parts if you want to fix that and have them like new again

INSANELY comfy, the ear cups are huge. The fabric used on the ear pads and the suspension strap are really great.

>HD 558, 559, 598, 599, 58X
I'm cool but could be cooler
>HD 600, 650
I'm very cool
>HD 660s
I'm fiscally irresponsible and not cool
>HD 6XX
I'm smart and cool

Buy replacement pads man, I put a pair on mine and they are wayyyyyyyyy comfortable than they were new and I think they sound better too but it could be placebo. Also got a pad for the top part that rests on your head, highly recommended.

I wish I had the kind of money to spend on HD 800s, would be sick to own.

None.
I live by myself so i dont have to worry to disturb someone

Absolute myth. Cranial squeezing only permanently works in infancy. At that time the plates aren't fully melded together and can be squeezed into a certain shape with permanency. At adulthood your skull is solidly melded together. You would require something like a truck tire on your head constantly to permanently reshape it. What you're seeing here is the topmost dermal layer being momentarily compressed.

recently bought some 6xx after my m50's died.

feeling very smart and cool right now.

My man

These two

FUCK clamping pressure
and FUCK closed ears

hd600s for every day use
hd598 closed back for when there's shit going in my house

If you rock open-back headphones you're my friend, doesn't matter what headphone or brand.

Closed-back is a meme, avoid at all cost.
>B-BUT IM AFRAID WHAT IF DADDY HEARS WHAT IM LISTENING TO?!
Stop being a pussy.

DT 990s

>found a spider in my headphone the other day
>woke up and ear was itchy
Not like this

you just start out defensive right out the gate, huh?

If you think that's why people prefer headphones, you've obviously never used good ones.

you've got eggs, m8

G930.
Not a single wireless (i need wireless for reasons) gaming headset ever came close to it.
I tried out every single one of them including sennheisers & co and refunded all in favor of buying a secondhand G930.

In that price range (or below it) there are:
Sivga 006
Koss kph30i
Sennheiser 280 pro
Grado sr80e (or sr60 if you wanna save a little)
Cooler Master mh752
Shp9500

Just off the top of my head, all of which are better. M50xs suck major ass.

fuck

you can buy memory foam earpads and a padded headband for these on Amazon, I highly recommend it

MDR XB250
Getting anything more expansive is retarded placebo trash for attention whores/trannies
simple as

Had these for little over a year, never liked them.

>got recommended to buy the HD 6XX
>they don't drop on massdrop for a month
well in a month from now I'll be using a pair of HD 6XXs
for now though, I use razer nari ultimate

I should flex my setup as proof I know what I'm talking about, I guess.
